E- LIBRARY- IIM BG has a good collection of e- resources
Learning methodologies are very good as most of the faculty teach us the real life cases.
The faculties which are teaching have relevant industry experience which makes teaching more effective.

Dislikes

Its a hectic schedule and getting a leave is next to impossible
Some clubs and committees are less active and care for unrequired things.
Currently we are on the temporary campus, less infrastructure facilities availabilities.

Enlightening IIM

Likes

the students and the faculty and their nature always their to help
the campus infrastructure and the night life in the campus
the mindfulness and the practices performed in the campus

Dislikes

the strict attendance policy by the admin
the connectivity to the city and the campus less travel modes
the industry exposure for the students are less

Our college has a 100% placement record, as our placement committee works a lot to bring all the companies to give the students opportunities, with an average of 1200000 and the highest of 4500000. the students get the summer internship placement after the 1st year of mba and the final placements after the 2nd year of the mba

More than just a campus : MY IIM BODHGAYA HOURNEY

The overall course structure was very comprehensive and had a lot of courses that focused on holistic development rather than just academic development . some of the courses were dance , drama , wellbeing , mindfulness etc.
The college is backed by a strong culture promoting diversity , ingenuity and entrepreneurship . This not only impacts us for our professional development but also in our personal aims and goals
The faculty is very intellectual and supportive . They not only support in the courses but always extend a hand in our co co ciricuallars too

Dislikes

There is a strict attendance policy of 85% . This is proven to be very hard at times of small medical emergencies which cannot be backed by a strong medical history and certificates
Over the Recent times the college has admitted a lot of students . this is a very big imbalance between the resource on hand the ones to avail .
The administration and staff not the faculty is strict and stringent . there is little to no grace when you need help or guidance

Placement Experience:

The IPM students are eligible for placments along with the MBA Students only . There are no Summer Internships offered in our intital BBA term . However students are free to avail of internships opportunity on their own . The average palcments and median placements are around 13,00,00 .

Likes

Faculties are highly qualified PHD scholars, they use cased based teaching approach.
Curriculum is updated frequently in lines to industry needs.
Active Clubs and committees helps students hone leadership qualities

Dislikes

Campus infrastructure is still developing.
Boys to girls ratio in current batch is 3:1, lacking holistic development across genders
Industry exposure is limited for BBA students in the first 3 years, compared to last 2 years of MBA.

Placement Experience:

IPM Students becomes eligible for placements in the 4th and 5th year of the program in MBA. Top firms like deloitte, HDFC, ICICI bank visit the campus for recruitment. Average package last year is 12 LPA for a batch size of more than 400 students across courses like MBA DBM, MBA HHM, MBA core.

Enlightening IIM

The college is well exposed , with different region of student
The college infrastructure is very well developed
The college professors have very good understanding

Very rigorous course structure which drains the student from doing anything else
Location of the college is on the down side, there is not much you can do around

Campus placement take place in 2 year of the MBA programs, however the 1st year get the opportunity to get summer internship from college itself, I believe the college placement is good as there are several renouned company coming for placement

The Newly constructed campus and hostels

Mandating of unnecessary tasks by various bodies
Mess food could have been better in quality
No transparency of any process with the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses were harvard style case methodologies mostly, which could have been better with more practical exercises and examples. Simulation exercises were also their but not that effective. Teaching methods were ppt based.

Inside story of IIM Bodhgaya

IIM Bodhgaya is a comparatively newer IIM and therefore I am witnessing its growth as an institute of national importance. The committees and clubs at IIM BG are very active and help you learn a lot of hard skills.
The atmosphere at IIM is very alike to corporates and therefore we there are also getting accustomed to office culture. Schedules are hectic and are preparing us for long sitting hours.
Campus is fully equipped with high tech library, class rooms and other facilities and is filled with lush green plants and tress and also offer various sports activities.

Dislikes

The placements are still low as compared to other Tier 1 colleges.
The fact that it is still considered to be a baby IIM by everyone despite being operational for a decade.
Exam schedule is tedious and I believe it could be relaxed a lot more if scheduling of classes in a day is managed properly. We usually have 2 exams everyday for a week with no prep leave causing mental fatigue and exhaustion.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered after completion of MBA and are decent. Lot of companies come offering good placements for all branches. Newer companies came this year for summer internships like EY, KPMG, etc. Banks like HDFC and HBSC have also selected few students for employment.

Life at IIM BG

Placement Experience:

The median package is around 16L, and the average is around 14.5. 1st year students have to sit for the Summer Internship Process compulsorily, and in 2nd-year Final placements take place. The campus has recruiters from top companies for both processes and an excellent track record of 100%. I plan to impact society by making this a better place to live through informed decisions.

The placements are very good. This year our average package was around 15.6 lakhs per annum. It saw a huge increase of 30% from the previous batch. The companies that visited included BFSI like ICICI, FMCG like Britannia, etc.

There are placements in college and students are eligible from the 4th year. Many companies like Nykaa and Butterfly were invited. The highest package was about 40 lakhs and the average of 16-17 lakhs. 100% placements are required.
