Please ask pass out student or current student for the actual senario of the college don't trust other . Don't waste your year and please do research on your college about placement scenario . If end of year you did not get any placement then all money are wasted.
Course Curriculum Overview
According to me , not so good .There are many subject which are not even required for future . If your stream is CSE then what is the important for electrical , economics etc subjests.There should be change in our course curriculum . Less time and maximum subject that's not equal. For exam structure , i am not so satisfied because there are many problem in this like each semester has 6 months but actually it 4 months . Between 4 months we have to keep our attendance 75% , do your assignment, micro project, lab copy , after that exam comes again it repeated.
Placement Experience
No , i am 4th year student , i am confirming that we did not get any placement or drive , not even cames MNC company . Whole semester got lost for these . For these students were very angry and protested it . We successfully did it , we change our training placement in charge and also principal, now recently join our new principal and placement incharge . And we are happy with this , and also hoping our next batch get the opportunity to get placed from our college.
College Events
1.Freshers : it is for new batch , 1st year 2.Each departmental Fest : CSE celebrate " INNOVATION " . Other department has their name for their fest. 3. Technical Fest: called TECHTRIX 4. Sport Fest : student conduct many games and sports for participation. 5. Cultural Fest: called REGALIA
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is high but responsibility is zero (0) . they taking the fees of placement but not give the placement , as I previously said placement is zero in our college . We pay the fee plus we also pay the our regular expenses like copy of notes ,a4 page , Xerox, print out etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
No , i had not listen about it. Also not sure about it . May be in our batch not get the opportunity but in future .Some student can get if college provide . But there are present pwd for addmission .
Campus Life
In our college , extracurricular are low . Activity is low , Labs infrastructure is also low, lab's equipment are not working many times , Sports place are not here at our college . We have common room for students only.
Alumni/Alumna
For alumni , i am not sure , but seniors are good .They are very helpful , and also very friendly . Always give advise for project . And tell how to deal the pressure of college . If any junior are facing any problem then they always help.
Admission
1. Give the joint entrance exam of west bengal 2. I got the rank according my joint result . 3. By rank , i got my college for admission . 4. There are rule that you can change your appearing college 3 times .(optional) 5. Then I lock college for my addmission . 6. Addmission process would held MAKAUT main campus and there were some teacher who completed my addmission process and confirm my college . And said to me that wait for college verification. 7. After some day I got the call from college for final addmission at my college.
Faculty
Not so good not so bad .There are some teachers they are really good at their knowledge about subject but not able to teach .And their are some teacher they might not have much knowledge but they very good at teaching profession.
