Remarks

My college is one the best & prestigious college of India.It is ranked in MHRD ranking as 9th position among all IITs & at 13th position among all engineering college in India.My college is best college of Mining in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is decent, a normal student would easily get used to it.Exams takes places 2 times in a semester, one is mid-semester exam which consists of 30-32% of total GPA of that semester & other is End-semester exam which consists of 48-50% of total GPA of that semester.

Placement Experience

As we are talking about job oppotunities, being an IIT & one of tje old college of India this college provide many job opportunities & students also get high annual package at placements.Insternship oppotunities are also good as it also provide you with abroad internship oppotunities.

College Events

There are many events in my college such as a techno-management event known as concetto is organised every year in which participants from many other colleges also take part.Other events of my college are basant, Srijan(cultural fest) etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite feasible compared to other colleges as I am a SC student so it also provide me fee waiver of 100% tution fee, soI have to only give hostel & mess fee.My tution fee is not taken from me.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college provide many different scholarships whose details are uploaded on my college official page known as MIS which can be accessed from LAN of my college only.Their they provide details of many scholarships for general, OBC, SC & other students.

Campus Life

Our college provides you with a large area of extracurricular activities & also made different clubs regarding different activities auch as different sports club like football club, cricket club, badminton club etc also hindi & english literary club etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful as they provide you with notes for studies & they give you best tips to study during semester & how to study during exam & how to make a proper schedule & they are so friendly as they always give you treat whenever you ask for.

Admission

I got admission in this college after giving 2 entrance exams which are JEE(mains) & JEE(advanced).These exams take place every year.JEE(mains) takes place 2 times in a year among which the result of the best one is counted but JEE(advanced) takes place only once in a year.

Faculty

Faculty of college is good & supportive.They are available for you whenever you are in need.They are very helpful.Especially professors are really very supportive & helpful.Professors come to class in time to take classes.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
