Remarks
Positive impact was the overall college experience helped me throughout since it is a important part of life. Negative impact is that sometimes in all girls college you can't be friends with everyone you make some enemies too.
Course Curriculum Overview
As the college was non autonomous (BTECH)the course curriculum was good with knowledge on the basics and important of the subject.Unlike other governments colleges the exam pattern was different we had cgpa out of 6 instead of 10.And also the syllabus was a bit different than other colleges
Placement Experience
We had a option for intermship however very less girls did that. For placement the opportunity was little less than other colleges especially for Electronics students as most of company were related to IT
College Events
There were many fests organized throughout the college. We had 2 days fest including games, fashion shows, dances and much more. We had many technical related games and also the winning prizes were quite good.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Yes the fee structure of UMIT was very feasible as compared to other engineering colleges since it was a girls college and a non autonomous one. For a middle class family it is convenient to pay fees for their girl doing engineering from this college
Fees and Financial Aid
No I did not availed for any such scholarship or loan but there were some options. Also the fees was less for some girls with less financial conditions and also there were no additional charges for late fees or something.
Campus Life
The labs were good but yet some instruments did not function as expected this is common in every college. Sports was quite good in our college there were many competitions for various sports between other colleges.
Hostel Facilities
No I did not opted since my house was close to college however my project mate was a hostilite and had many issues related to hostel food and fees. As it is common in every mess that the food is not that hygienic as it should be.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they were very helpful especially for the interview processes they took one session to give tips for how to crack interviews and exams . They also helped for someone willing to do masters outside India .
Admission
CAP round. This was followed in Maharashtra on basis of (Maharashtra state board)CET marks ina which there are mcq on physics , chemistry and maths subject for admission in engineering colleges in Maharashtra.
Faculty
The teachers were good and helpful however not all of them. Every teacher has their own way of teaching which did not matched with my pattern but yet they had good knowledge on their respective fields.
