Remarks
Our college need more improvements as they are Charging high semester fees and in return we are getting nothing. They need improvement in every thing for b.pharm at least. There is no internship no placement then for what they are Charging 79000 per semester with 2000 examination fees.
Course Curriculum Overview
There is a total 8 semesters in b.pharma and two internals with one improvement test before every semester. They will take 20% from best of two internals and 75% from end semester and 5% for attendance and assignment.
Placement Experience
Our college is a new college there is no placement in our college still now. They do not provide any internship at all we have to arrange internships from outside they will only provide us with no objection certificate.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in our college but most of them are for engineering department not for our pharmacy department. Like sports,tinder u, annual cultural fest, hackathon, robotics, architecture events,etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is very expensive, we pay 79000 rupees in every six months and 2000 rupees examination fees before every semester along with that we already paid 4000 rupees for a bag(low quality) and uniform.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our college there is no such academic scholarship but there are plenty of scholarship like kanyashree by our cheif minister Mamata Banerjee. Our college only help in the procedure of filling the form for scholarship.
Campus Life
There is no extra curricular activities at all in our college. The labs are good but not upto the mark our school (kendriya vidyalaya) labs are more advanced than our college labs. So they need to improve in this.
Alumni/Alumna
In our b.pharma we do not have alumni network because no batch is still passed from our college. Currently the first b.pharma batch is in 4th year 7th semester. They are quite helpful but we can't expect lot of things from them as they are not graduates.
Admission
I appeared for wbjee and I went to techno India DAMA located in chingrighata along with all my class 10,class 12 and wbjee result card, they took a small interview there and then and there I paid 1lakh management quota fees to get admission. They also then and there will take 79000 rupees for 1st-semester examination.
Faculty
They are not helpful at all. All the time they insist us to study no internship no practical based knowledge only they insist us to study books. And we all know nowadays practical baded knowledge is more important than theory based knowledge to secure good job.
