College is excellent and gives good oportunities for overall development of personality communication skills, other skills, learning skills, provides good accomodation and mess at affordable rates.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course contains papers corresponding to Environmental Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering.seminar and project. Exam structure consists of two internal exams and an End semester exam. attendance of 80% is mandatory to attend end semester exam.
Placement Experience
Placements are good includes companies from all core sectors though software firms are more in number. Internship has to be done outside in private or government firms. we had a stipend of Rs 8000 per month given by MHRD which was later increased to Rs 12400.
College Events
Technical fest Tathva and Arts Fest Ragam. National conference TISI. Technical fests include expos technical events quizzes etc while arts fest is pure entertainment consisting of stage shows of eminent personalities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees can be managed from the monthly stipend obtained from MHRD. It is not expensive and not that cheap. Those who are not having stipend will find the fees a little on the higher side but those javing stipend can manage it easily.
Fees and Financial Aid
Those who are qualified by GATE exam will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 8000 which was increased to Rs 12400. This stipend can be used to meet all the expenses in the college including hostel and mess.
Campus Life
Lab facilities include all labs for graduate and post graduate programs teachers handling labs as well as lab assistants have excellent knowledge sports facilities are available which includes practice grounds courts for tennis basketball etc.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors and alumnis are helpful and rise to occassion when needed. Seniors were of good help when we joined the college and especially during our project times with their guidance and valuable suggestions.
Admission
Applied for Gate exam. secured a rank for 1073 in exam. applied for ccmt allotment. got admission in nit calicut. attended certificate verification. paid semester fees and regsitered for course.
Faculty
Excellent faculty with good experience communication and teaching skills. teachers motivate the students a lot. gives assignments seminars and interactive discussions to develop self learning skills communication skills etc.
