Remarks

According to me the college is one the best colleges one can get into. The professors are very helpful and down to earth and always are ready to clear your doubts. Extracurricular activities are also on the rise and more are to be a part of the college very soon. One should definitely consider being a part of the SIES family.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The Course Curriculum of the college is up to date and covers almost everything that needs to be taught. It gives a better understanding of the actual world and is not just based on theoretical knowledge of the subjects.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college has tied up with internshala which provides various types of internships, both paid and upaid. I have personally done 2-3 internships from the same and got paid around 5k. There are dull time part time as well as work from home internships. Students can choose according to their convinience.

Placement Experience

4.5

As far as I know, the placements and job opportunities are one of the best one can get from SIES group of institutions. The college is tied and connected to various MNC’s which offer a wide variety of jobs and internships based on the merit attained by the student.

College Events

5

Our college is famous for VISIONS which is a cultural festival in which various college participate every year. The second even is UTKARSH which is basically hosted to acknowledge academic performances of the students. Both these events take place during December.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very nominal and has been subsidised by the government. The particular fee for the college depends upon the subjects chooses by the student. Approximately it ranges from 5009-25000 yearly. There are options available for minorities where one can avail lesser amounts which have to be paid for the fees

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers a wide variety of scholarships and the details of which can be availed from the official website of SIES. There are various scholarships for sports as well as merit students based on their performances as far as I know.

Campus Life

4

The college of SIES has and conducts various activities and students have a wide variety of options to choose from in order to showcase there talents. The college has its NSS and NCC units which interests many students. Also the college has Prajnya which is specially for blind students. It conducts activities and supports them in every possible way. The college has a well equipped library and also has various sports teams.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Talking about the facilities available in the college, SIES has one of the best libraries which have relevant books and articles written by recognised writers and publishers for reference purpose. The canteen is good and has a wide variety of options to choose from and is also affordable. The campus as a whole is not so big but for the space it occupies, it has a good infrastructural base. The washrooms have recently been renovated and are absolutely spick and span. Cleaning is done on a regular basis. Also, the college does not provide hostel facility.

Alumni/Alumna

Regular workshops are conducted by alumnis who deliver guest lectures during college hours and share their success stories owing entire credit being a part of Sies group of institutions. Seniors are very helpful and also good advisors. No raging takes place in the college premises. The student council of the college takes good care of the same.

Exam Structure

The college is autonomous and has its unique exam structure. The exams have been divided into 60-40 pattern where 40 marks is for internals(20 for online test based on MCQ pattern and 20 for group/individual projects followed by a viva) and 60 marks is purely theory based.

Admission

The admission procedure was strictly based on merit and the decision making authority lies in the hands of solely the institution. The admissions were based on the percentage acquired by the student in the 12th grade and the desired field had to be chosen by the student. After this, the merit list was displayed by the college in accordance with the form filled online. An offline brochure had to be collected from the college which contained the prospectus number against a nominal fee and the same had to he filled in the admission form.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is well equipped with latest technology and pays equal attention to individual students as far as possible. One of the best faculties one can come across in mumbai with high educational qualification in their respective fields.

Quite substandard and below average. Prioritised rote learning over critical thinking. Just a rubber stamp for a degree. No actual education ever took place. Exams were anually or bi annually. Exams were difficult if you cannot write 30 pages in 3 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.
