Remarks

The infrastructure is a bit old. It needs to be renovated for the students to study in a peaceful and happy atmosphere. Overall the college is good and is rated B by NAAC. There should also be cameras for each class to keep a check on the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Bcom honours are the course which is to opt as this course is considered as a basis for the people planning to pursue MBA. This course covers the topics of MBA first year and it's easy for the students to go for higher studies.

Internships Opportunities

No, the college does not provide us with internships and if we wanna do the internship, we can do it from outside as the college has no objection to doing an internship as an internship provides the student with a great experience.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement and job opportunities in this college are the best available in the town as no college offers the placements in such good companies with great packages at graduation level. I myself got placed in Genpact.

College Events

4.5

There a numerous amount of events that are celebrated in the college. Deepotsavam is celebrated, Navratri is celebrated, there are even devotional days like Ganesh Chaturthi celebrated and even Eid. This college doesn't do any discriminate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure when compared to the other colleges is highly feasible as I paid just 40000/- for three years of Bcom Hons. There are even scholarships and loan facilities available for the students from the college end.

Fees and Financial Aid

This college provides good scholarships. Last year it extended a total scholarship of 2 lakhs distributed among students. There is also a loan facility available to pay the fees and the faculty here is so good that it pays for the students who can't pay or afford it.

Campus Life

3.5

The extracurricular activities are uncountable over here in this institute which includes both the intercollege as well as intercollege events. There are three labs which are maintained properly by the responsible staff.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The infrastructure facilities available in the college are very poor and the only thing to be rectified is the whole college. The classrooms are average it's just that the washrooms need to be maintained properly.

Alumni/Alumna

I basically took the admission from the recommendation of the alumni who happens to be my cousin. They suggested me this college to and when I did my review, I found the college to be top-ranked in the town.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is just like the structure that is prevailing in other colleges. We have two internals and one external for each semester. In total there are six semesters (3 years). And the passing marks need to be scored.

Admission

The admission for this college is merit-based but for the course, I selected there is an entrance exam which is a common exam for this course, and the students and ranked based on scores and then the counseling is done for the students to choose their college.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is amazing as all are highly experienced and almost all the lecturers are the ex principals of reputed colleges. The faculty is always ready to solve the student's problems with a solution.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
