Sumathi's Review On Bhandarkars Arts And Science College, Udupi

It was a good college and we learnt many things totally it was hepfull for the all-round development of the students and it prepares the students for the future. After campus interview we got a idea how to face interview.

It was good, Along with study we learnt many things such as importance of money, how to face problems, college provided good study environment and also we had very good campus and library. Along with studies teachers are encouraging us to participate in cultural events.

Many companies visited the college for campus selection such as wipro, infosys e.t.c. Not only company we got opportunity to attend interview conducted by different banks.It was a wonderful experience because from that experience we are able to attend many interviews.

Every year we are celebrating college annual day and we are participating in cultural competition and we were celebrating Gandhi Jayanthi, Independence day, Republic day, NSS and NCC meeting and camp, blood donation camp e. t.c.

Fee structure is expensive for middle class family but we were getting good education and good lab facility,good library and campus selection if we consider all these points fee structure was not expensive.

We got OBC scholarship at that time that is once in year we were getting 4000rupees. From that money atleast we can manage bus pass charge, uniform fee and notes zerox e.t. c. Now a days students are getting many scholarships from the college.

Extra curricular activities were very good we were Participating in the NSS and NCC meeting, blood donation camp, Sports day every year we were doing and many students are taking part in that and lab facility was very good we had good teachers and lab assistants.

govt hostel was there for the students who were coming from far places. But my home is nearly 30km from the college so I was travelling evryday we had KSRTC bus pass through that we were traveling to college everyday.

Senior students were very helpful, they helped in many situation especially first time when we entered the college they helped us to find the classrooms, And during heath issues they helped alot, and in lab activities we got help from them.

First we have to fill the college application then according to merit list after that we have to submit our original documents such as PUC marks card, Adharcard and caste certificate then they will display first list, second list on notice board.

We had very good faculty who were always supporting us and guiding. In the laboratory especially during physics lab while doing circuit connection we are very afraid to do in such cases they helped alot and they made us to feel it is very easy.
