A very happy and peaceful life

Positive thing is there is a huge crowd which gives you Avery competitive spirit and lots of thing to learn. Like when in fest students use to come up with an idea and make a team and work with it. So it is basically developing you team spiti and leadership qualities. What out world needs. On negative side there bis a still Bai's about the language in some department there are north indian who might feel they are speaking and having jokes in Tamil in class where they say it is totally English speaking.

The course was pretty good they do maintain a very nice quality in my department. Since I was from biotechnology, so my department was way strict than any other departments. So I have learnt alot in this College, how to handle things well with pressure.

Yes College does provide internship and no it is not paid at all. It is up to you where you want to work go approach to the professor and they will see you marks and they see how enthusiastic are you for work and then only they take it.

College offers placement for all most of the students who have knowledge about the subject, definately are getting placed. On an average package is 3-5 lpa from sem. Of you are a dilligent student your package can be 7 or above. It totally depends on your knowledge and luck But the fact is some people they have lots of arrear and thy won't study well and they expect placements.

In SRM there ar eonly two festivals One is Aarush and Milan Aarush is a technical fest where all students put the idea and project for display and have some interesting games too play when other colleges students can come and play. Milan is a totally cultural fest . Celebrities are called and lost of dance singing fashion competition happens so it is like totally fun part. Ther will be huge food stalls in both the fest and no College hours during this time.

Fees structure was very nice once you get inside the College you need to pay the full fees at once. But after you entered then you can pay small small amount to not to have a huge burden. For a B.tech the fees was 2 lac per year. So many banks are there to finance for the students as a student blown for education in SRM itself.

SEM provide scholarship in the basis of SRM JEE as well as on sports too. The amount will vary for every individual, because bit is totally fair how less your rank is on that basis they get scholarship. Some people who have under 50 they study for free too. Coming to lain part. In campus there are Citi union bank SBI banks are there to avail a loan . It is quite easy to avail loan in campus . For applying loan you need to submit some documents and the loan will be paid directly to the SEM bank so there will be less hassle as compared to the banks out side of srm

SRM is very famous for research and labs. They have a very huge lab for every course . Since I was from biotechnology there is a while research building of 9 floors which is ment only for research regarding nanotechnology , food technology, biotechnology, aerospace etc SRM use to spend alot in lab. Coming to sports There are 4 basketball court available in campus and a very big ground for cricket and football . And for table tennis and badminton there is a indoor courts too. So I some one is really found of games they can enjoy the life in SRM and also SRM University helps students who are good in sports . As in if they have to go for tournament then the classes will be off and they got time to practice and also after a year the fees can be reduced broo if you are too good there.

Hostel life was too good. For the fresher there were 4 big blocks and in this blocks there were 10 floors where in every floor there are 100 students stay with sufficient amount of washrooms and everything. However having a such huge hostel they have a very good facility bid drinking water and wahrooms. And they maintain cleanliness. So if it is a huge hostel you can mingle with lots of people from all across the India and you can literally have a friends from all over India. To be honest i always miss hostel life.

SRM ha s very big alumni network since it has a very huge student strength. Lots of students you'd to connect by "Alma connect" where old student bidder jobs to new students for their betterment. To be honest the alumni network via growing every year and the students Bhave lots of opportunities. But they have to open up contact band access all those opportunities so that they can have a safe future. But unfortunately not everyone is aware of it and not everyone is getting benifit from it. We need to work more for it.

Structure of semester exam is like 5 questions for 12 marks which has option for every question. 20 questions MCQ Out of 7 you have to attempt 5 questions for 4 Mark. Well exam is one of the toughest in whole Tamilnadu I can say. They maintain a huge decorum for the exam no one can turn the face no one should have anything with then and eventually they can't even tick mark on question paper.

Admission was not that easy i thought when i passed class 12 . I wrote exam of srm entrance exam, then i got a call and i had to come for councelling and then again there was a big race of course selection . Firstly the CSE , ECE, IT, Mech departments gets filled so fast as if you dont get of you have lower rank approx above 10000. And they have management quota also for those who want to pay much and still wants to get the department. But again they have to come fast if the seats got filled in that quota also it will be really difficult.

Honestly I can say 70. Percent of the College faculties are very and helping they use to help alot. Because of the Tamil culture sometimes some teacher speaks in Tamil and then they tell in English. For me I use to get very boored when they crack Tamil jokes.
