One negative remark is college campus is really small. It's around 25 acres which is quite less for around 6000 students in campus and one more thing is campus is kind of outside Bangalore city. There are many restaurants near to our college

Since the college is autonomous there is liberty in the course curriculum. I believe the computer science course syllabus is in in par with IITs . Syllabus is set according to the needs of the industry which is really appreciative. There are also electives for 2 credits. Algorithm lab is one place where I learn and enjoy coding. The questions are given and we are supposed to submit through online judge.

College provides internships. There are various organizations in our college where students can intern during summer. Some of them are CCBD (cloud computing and big data), CDSAML(CENTRE FOR DATA SCIENCE AND APPLIED MACHINE LEARNING) ,Alcoding club etc.

Placement is what makes our college famous. Placement is really good. Average packages around 9 lacs. Last year 10 people from our college got 40 lacs package from Microsoft.placements for computer science branch is really good and rest of the branch I am not sure.

College festival celebrated in very grand way and many celebrities are invited. Last year biswa Kalyan Nath came for stand up comedy and Shreya ghoshal gave a concert. More than 80 lacs was spent on the event.

If you join through Karnataka entrance exam then the fees is 1 lakh which is quite affordable. But if you join through the university exam that is Pessat then the fees is 300000 which is quite expensive.And if you join through management then the fees is 700000 per year which is really really expensive.

College provides scholarship to students who have scored really good in semester.They provide scholarship of 25% of the college fees to the top 20% of the students in their respective semester. They are really supportive to students who are good in studies.

There is a huge cricket ground behind our college and they also train the cricket team. And also they train for football. There is a college football team that has won many matches.There is also gymnasium in our college which is really affordable at rupees thousand per year. Loves are really good and well maintained.

I stayed in hostel and I should say it is really good. Not even once did I get rag unlike my friends in other colleges who were telling me about their horrible experiences. Even the food is really good. There are three mess and you can choose any one of them. There is one separate mess for vegetarians. There are two sharing single and three sharing rooms. Hostel also provides laundry service. There is a free unlimited Wi-Fi. Network coverage in hostel is really bad. There is also a mini bakery inside hostel.

College has very good alumni network.many students who have been graduated from our college are working in many multinational companies in our country and also abroad. They have been really helpful in preparing us for placement and other activities.

There are two internals and one end semester exam. Internals are conducted by computer based test. Even the end semester exam papers are digitalised and then evaluated. Each course has a semester end project which carries a significant amount of weightage.

I had a rank of 643 in PESSAT exam which is the entrance test conducted by the university. I joined through my pessat rank. Usually the cutoff is 1020 for computer science.MyKCET rank was 1020.Later through cet I joined in last round of counselling.

Faculty is really well versed in what they are teaching and are really approachable.There are several faculties who have completed PhD and also have industry experience of more than 20 years.We can also do project under them during summers.
