University review

#Positive. 1) Good infrastructure. 2) Affordable as compared to other private university. #Negative. 1). Faculty lacks experience. 2)Administration is not good here. 3)Its a newly established University.

The University is new EST. In 2017 but previously the university is a recognised institute under Guwahati University. Our department is added in last year (2018). We face lot of problems as our department is new.

For our department we have to find it for ourselves. But for other departments they have a good internship under the guidance of their faculty. If you want intership you have to work by yourself.

Placement here for technical course is good as compare to other universities in North East. There is a separate placement board.If you are good you'll get good placement in reputed company like Amul, Hyundai,etc.

Seminars were organised by concern department from time to time those seminar are worth to joined it." Consensio" its the largest event in North East hosted by the University. Lots of outsiders visited here to enjoy. It is celebrated in the month of December

Fee structure here is expensive as compared to the facilities available here. The university did not accept any form of donation at the time of admission. But they'll impose heavy fine if we fail to clear our fees in time. We've to clear our 2nd semester fees before ending our 1st semester exam

Scholarship is good here if you are meritorious. Loan facility can be available according to your needs. But the academic office staff didn't co-operate much to apply for other government and private scholarship.

Labs for our department is not that much up-to-date, lacks lots of equipment, chemical reagent and tools. Sports are not organised in proper way. But cultural events and other programs are well organised

Infrastructure here is good. The reason why I am here in university is because of infrastructure. Thinking that University is good as it looks. Hostel facility is not good bit congested but little expensive. Non veg is not allowed inside University

For our department there is no alumni as we are the pioneers of our department.. For other departments they organise alumni meet and share thoughts to there juniors. This helps them a lot to build their career.

Exam is conducted by our University exam board. They strictly follow UGC guidelines. Different from other universities its compulsory to take a) Behaviour science b) Communicative English c) Quantative which carry 1 credit and reasoning/language/Indian Land of Diversity which carry 2 credit

There is no written entrance exam for admission to this University. Just submit documents required by University through post or particular office branch and they will call for personal interview.I give my interview in Skype video call

Faculty here lack experience but they are friendly and approachable. They are always ready to helps students. I suggest to try for other University. If you don't have any option then you can be here..
