Remarks
The College overall it's really good in my opinion. The teaching is good and faculties of my department are very student-friendly. Overall the course is good and I am enjoying it here very much. In my perception , the College is fine.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is really good. Well set and I like it very much. Everything is in order and as my course is for 4 years.The curriculum for it is broke down in 8 semesters and we'll distributed from basics to core subjects.
Placement Experience
Well I am not more sure about the placements but I think the placements cell is doing just fine. there are a lot of job opportunities as many companies visits the campus and recruit students from various departments.
College Events
We celebrate a lots of events and there is so or the other event every week ,let it be science related, entrepreneur related, quizzes etc. We even have our fest called as IGNIEIT which takes AVE once every year.Its a 2 day fest with a week of sin and celebration.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I think the fees structure is just okay. I won't say it as quite expensive but i think there should be little reduction in fees. The fees for the people who got into via CET is just okay. Overall there should be little reduction in fees for potential students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college offers scholarship to all the students again they are just the medium through which we apply but we actually get scholarship from the government based on our marks, caste etc. I am not aware of any loan facility.
Campus Life
We have a lots of lab set up in our college and there is a lot of sport opportunities provided by our college. They take us to various competitions and bare our travel expenses. Overall for sports they are really good.
Hostel Facilities
Well , the NIE hostel facility is good. But little far away from our college. Our college is building their own Hostel right adjacent the the college so that's a good think. Currently we share the hostile with our sister College.
Alumni/Alumna
Well I am not sure about the alumini network ,but seniors are quite helpful .They suggest us various things and are very friendly. Overall the seniors suggest us about things to do and what not to do. So that's very nice. Again it's my own opinion.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is good with 60 % externals and 40% of internals exams. My scheme is of 2017 so we have 3 Internals of 30 marks each and 3 assignments of 10 marks each. The average is taken for 40 for the three. Externals is for 100marks which is later converted to 60% makes of it.
Admission
Well I got the admission via KCET ,which is a entrance exam written for entering engineering colleges. After getting my results ,I applied in the kEA website for this college and few more and that is how I got admitted in this college.
Faculty
I am doing my Mechanical Engineering here and according to my opinion the faculties are really good and student-friendly. They are available to us almost everytime and they take up extra classes if we want to study even more deep into the subject.
