Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum here is very rigorous and also the faculty follows the practical approach of teaching for example using excel for stats and other calculation. We have trimesters here which is full of variety of subjects in each semester.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college do provide summer internship. We are the first year student but our seniors have already completed there internships at prestigious institutions, one being at RBI too. The public sector banks too come for summer internship, but they may not be paid.
Placement Experience
The placement of nibm is 100% since inception. Even the course curriculum and faculty here are so experienced that their teachings and experiences makes the student well averse Tobe adopted by the industries thus making him/her job oriented.
College Events
There are a number of events held at nibm. The well known people of industry are also called from time to time for the conferences. We also have the fresher's, fests, along with sports , cultural and all the sorts of activities within the campus and also inter college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible when compared to other pgdm colleges ,since the ROI is 98% thus the fee structure of 12lkh justifies. Along with 12laks only the mess charges are to be paid separately,which is approx 5k p.m
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is available depending upon the students performance along with their financial background. The loan facility is quite good since this is a banking institute backed by RBI, college do have tie-up with SBI for the loan.
Campus Life
Everything is available here. We have 11different committees for all sorts of activities. We have a fascinating Library with huge collection of books. We have the wifi facility and computer lab with pretty good infrastructure.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is fine. We do not have the typical hostel looking kind of, but instead the flat system with 4 sharing, 2 in a double occupancy room and other 2 in single occupancy. Canteen is common for all the students.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is quite good with around 800+ alumni. We can contact any of the alumni at any time on LinkedIn and other social media network. They are helpful and will give the real picture of nibm. We also have alumni committee here.
Exam Structure
Exam structure as mentioned earlier is trimester. The marking pattern is decided individually by the teachers. The assignments, projects, tests and exams are conducted with the weightage of each depending upon the faculty of each subject.
Admission
I got the admission via cmat entrance exam. The cut off for cmat was 95% while mine was 96. The college shortlisted the students on the basis of wat and interview . My interview was held in Delhi at nibscom.
Faculty
The faculty of the college as I told is outstanding. We have the best faculty for banking and finance. We also have the guest lecturer here who belongs to various banks and also Other companies placed at efficient positions.
