Course Curriculum Overview
The course is for four years with eight semesters. Admission of new students closes by 31st August every year. After this, the first slot test takes place in the month of September. Second slot test takes place in the month of October. Practical exams in the month of November and finals in the month of December.
Placement Experience
An active employment cell has been formed within our college for the placement of graduates. The placement officer, is an executive of reputed multinational company who is looking after the cell on fulltime basis. About 95% has been placed in this year in reputed companies including - German Remedies,Modi MundiPharma,Cipla,Nestle,Glaxo,GSK Pharma etc.
College Events
Important seminars and events related to education takes place. Fresher's day and farewell day is celebrated with joy. Other than these, national holidays are provided and Republic day is celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure for undergraduates is nearly 1lakh per year which is expensive. But keeping in mind that the facilities that this college provides, the fees is justified and also they strive to provide the best education to their students.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no such scholarship available for the students as much as I know. And my parents haven't availed a loan as for then the fees is manageable. Still if one wants to take a loan, he/she can go to their respective banks with a permission from the Principal through his signature.
Campus Life
A contractor-run canteen on the campus offers lunch, snacks, tea, coffee and cold drinks at reasonable prices on all working days.The institute has set up a modernised Library for the Students with all adequate facilities. It is equipped with an Audio-Visual section along with a Photocopy centre. The Laboratories are : PharmaceuticalChemistry,Pharmaceutics Lab,Bio-pharmaceutics Lab,Engineering Lab,Instrument Room etc. Obviously all these facilities are good enough.
Hostel Facilities
No. I haven't applied for the hostel facility as my home is very near to my college. As per the information gained, the college provides hostel facilities for boys and girls separately. Necessities like furniture, electricity and other basic facilities are provided in the hostels and a senior professor is looking after the Hostel affairs as incharge with active participation of the hostel boarders.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very wide and strong including teachers of high rank and highly capable to teaching, who basically works for the upliftment of their students. The seniors are very helpful and friendly. Provided that the juniors have to cooperate with them at the same time.
Admission
In HS+2 Science with minimum 45% marks PCB or PCM is required. And admission Process is through Central Selection Committee on the basis of Joint Entrance rank plus Management quota with valid rank.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is great with its Principal being from this very field. Notes and lectures are provided that are very helpful for the students. It's suggested that one may not need extra guidance if they pay attention to the lectures that are provided in the college.
