Remarks

The college manangement is good. If you want to have some serious fun come to arsd, elections here are one of the best. Life is fun here, you wont get bored. Management is also very cooperative.

Entrance Preview

To get into FU you don't have to gice any entrance. Admissions are done on the basis of cut off's for 12th marks. I scored 91.25% in best for subjects including Maths, Accounts, Economics and English (1 language is mandatory). The cut off was 90% though.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very good, if you love mathematics and your logics are good then go for it. The faculty is good in Arsd.

Internships Opportunities

I haven't done any internship so far.

Placement Experience

The placements are nit that good, you get a package of around 25 K, but the job profile is not very good.

College Events

Every department has its own annual festival, like maths department has "Tangentia". Also the college fest is "Tide" which is good, last year the star night was with "Bohemia".

Campus Life

The college has active societies for Dramatics, Drama, Hindi Debating, Dance, Music and cultural society. The college has a decent hangout spot where you'd find people doing all the fun stuff and having good time. Gender ratio is okay. For sports we have Cricket, volleyball, football, badminton and a few more sports. Lecture serieses and competitions keeps happening throughout the session.

Hostel Facilities

There are no hostels. No mess.Canteen food is good and affordable.Rating : 8/10

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

All about ARSD.

I applied to a lot of other colleges under Delhi University and some private colleges, i chose this college over those because overall it was a better and reputed college. Fees is quite affordable, attendance is managable, well infrastructure, based in a good locality, good connectivity and several other reasons.
