Remarks

Positive: There are a lot. 1. Scenic Beauty 2. Peaceful environment 3. Less competition in campus placements. 4. Easy access to equipments. 5. Weather Negative: 1. Less competition.less growth if you don't compete with some ideal things. 2. You can miss you foods. 3. no Gate/CAT coaching institute nearby. 4. You can miss experience faculties. You have to develop more confidence in youself. Learn from online resources.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is a National Institute of India. And course Carriculum is based on the NITS rules and regulations. There are semester exams mid term exams unit test mini projects in every semesters. And there is some credit for each and every subjects in every semester.

Placement Experience

4.5

Well. For my branch there is 100 percent placement. For other branches too if they know how to code they will not have to much worry about these. No, my college is newly established to as of now it doesn't provide internship but it helps in getting them like this year one student got internship opportunity at Microsoft.

College Events

2.5

There are many big and small events being celebrated.some of them are. 1.Ougri.this the official cultural festival of our college celebrate every year in March. 2.Tech Fest 3.Sports Meet 4.Saraswati Pooja 5.Holika 6.Dandiya 7.Freshers Meet 8.Farewell

Fee Structure And Facilities

I can say it is feasible as it provides fee waiver to students according to their family income. Like students have family income less that 1 laks gets complete fee waiver on tution fess. And student having family income inbetween 1-5 L gest 2/3rd and students having family income more than 5 L have to pay full.

Fees and Financial Aid

National scholarship are there. You can take education loan too. My college didn't offer any scholarship or loan facility it is the banks or Indian government or state government who offer scholarship and loans facilities to students.

Campus Life

3.5

It is not that much in extracurricular activities. But there are some like. cricket football and volleyball and table tennis. these four games are played regularly by students. There are some small groups like Kalam Club, Cyber club where debate, discussion, competition is on periodically.

Alumni/Alumna

Only 4-5 batches have been passed out. But whatever it is they are very helpful in what they can. There are fb pages for our alumni and some departments also have started their alumni meet up. As the time grows our alumni network will grow stronger more helpful.

Admission

I got admission in 2016. In that year I have give JEE(main) exam and got a decent rank in the exam. Till that year rank was calculated on the basis of both 12th boards marks and the JEE main marks. Although 93.6 is good marks in boards but percentile is not good enough to enhance your rank. My calculated rank was not good enough to land me in some top ranked NITS with good branch. So in counselling I opt whatever option available according to my branch preferences. And in 6th round of counselling I was allotted NIT manipur CSE branch. It has been a great journey though.

Faculty

3.5

In every college student don't much dependent on their faculty so there is the same situation. Faculty is new here so don't expect too much from them else study by yourself from online, books.whatever you like and afford.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average and mostly theory-based. Core CS subjects are covered, but practical learning, updated content, and flexible electives are limited, so we students must rely on self-study. And the exams are also monthly so you have to work on your own to study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The good side is the academics: CSE covers programming, operating systems, algorithms, AI, NLP, databases and related math, with regular curriculum updates in consultation with industry. ECE (including VLSI & Embedded Systems) includes communication systems, control, image processing, CMOS design, IoT, ML and AI, with strong emphasis on labs and projects. Recent placement data shows an overall placement rate around 80–85%, with CSE doing better than ECE, and a highest package near 40 LPA and average around 8–9 LPA for 2024, which is solid for a young IIIT. The transit campus at Mantripukhri still has essentials like Wi?Fi campus, library, labs, auditorium, hostels, faculty housing and playgrounds.
