My College

Likes

I think the surrounding and the nature is awesome and mind refreshing. The atmosphere is good which make it's more comfortable to study.the campus life is beautiful and seniors are very nice they are very helpful.
The faculty are experienced and skilled. They lab assistant professor and every teaching staffs are very nice.
The placement are not so nice but still better then most of other the highest package was 42 LPA.

Dislikes

There is a bit discrimination as the local people are more in numbers and they are favoured as compared to non local
The infrastructure is not good. It's made up on wetlands. No roads are there.
The girl hostel is very far from the college it took 4 hours daily in travelling.

Placement Experience:

From 3 semester students become eligible for campus placement. The name of the companies which visited are ICICI Bank Newgen Tata digit etc. 85.9% of cse student got placed. The highest package was 42 LPA and average package is 8to 11 LPA. I wanted to start my own company. Our college also provide us the experience by giving us internship opportunity.

Friends and teachers they help in everything
Campus location is very prime college is surrounded by hills which is looks attractive in the day time
There is no restrictions in hostels for boys

Dislikes

College infrastructure should have a scope of developement
There is water everywhere in the college in rainy season
Most of the local students are good but some think thar they are boss there they threatens students from other states

Placement Experience:

Placements is growing every year in the college.Avg placement is 8-10 lakhs per annum .Students are also getting internship from third year .In Cse and Ece placement percentage is 100 percentage which is very good

Our college environment is very nice . I liked it very much
The faculty is asli very good in our department and in our campus
Weekly 5 times they will provide non-veg in our collage campus

Dislikes

The facilities in our collage i wont like that much .
They will provide less quantity and less quality in food
I disliked about water issues inour college. The wster facility will not good

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester student's become eligible for campus placement. Infosys , google, microsoft, delotte, tcs, techmahindra, amzon like this etc. Are the companies visited and they made many no.of offers . Highest package of the campus is 670000 and minimum package is 800000. 100 percent of students are getting placemats. My olans after my degree is going to abroad

Life in NIT, Manipur

About the faculty. All the faculty have good background and they teach us very well
About the lab. The equipment that we have in our lab is good enough for us
About the student. All the student including senior junior and batchmate they are quite friendly

Course Curriculum Overview:

We don't take part in much curriculum activity because all our time is engage in doing lab work and all. We have 2 exam each semester and this exam is fixed in the academic calendar. As for the difficulty level it varies

harsh reality of nit manipur

i like the nature and the environment here is very peaceful.
the faculty here is good and undestandable.
the placements here are quiet good compared to other north east colleges.

Dislikes

there should be improvement in the mess as food is not tasty and insufficient to the students.
the infrastructure is not good as expected.
there should be proper drianage system designed as the water gets stationary at once place

Placement Experience:

from the 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement. companies like microsoft , ibm , tcs actively hire students from the college. the highest package is 47 lpa and average package is 7 lpa .

My POV on NIT Manipur

I like the environment. It has a clean environment providing atmosphere for studies.
The student teacher relationship is very good

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college is not that good. It lacks many things in terms of infrastructure.
Administration of the college also lacks proper utilisation

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are elgible from 5th semester. Offers of campus placements from companies are usually IT sector companies like Microsoft, Amazon, etc. The highest package is around the range of 25 lakhs. The average package ranges around 6-7 lakhs. Around 70-75% of students gets placement each year. My plans after this degree is to go for civil exams.

Placement Experience:

Placements are overall good but have seen a certain decline in 2023-24 due to the recession as well as the situation in Manipur. Companies like Amazon, Discovery, and Edfora have visited our campus. The highest package of 47LPA was offered to only one student, while most of the most of the students have got placements under 14LPA.

Internship Opportunity in our collage

Likes

Teachers are supportive mentorship qualities are good .
There are 4 workshops for mechanical branch more than any other branch
The campus location is perfect mountains and clouds during rain.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not good need improvment .
Mess and hostel gaurds are not supportive sometimes they sre drunked .
Delay on solving our problems . Poor classes infrastructure .

Placement Experience:

After 8 semester students become eligible for campus placement but he may get pre placement offer of he so talented L&T , Tech Mahindra , Tata, BEL, INFYOSIS , wipe out, powegrid, Microsoft, etc companies have 147 placement offers. 80 percent are placed. My plans are to do business after graduation.

The institute has a central library, sports facilities, workshops, and separate hostel for boys and girls.
The campus is located in a beautiful natural setting with lush green fields
Most of the teachers are PhD holders from IITs or NITs and are considered

Dislikes

Transportation facilities is very poor. Situation of vehicles are so poor.
In-time for hostel is very bad because of Manipur situation.
Wi-Fi facilities is very poor and unstable.

Placement Experience:

From my course many have got placement but I didn't applied for it because I don't want placement as I want to do further studies in the field of UPSC and now as I have got my degree so know I can start my UPSC preparations.

Review of NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY MANIPUR

Likes

Location of the college is good as it is situated in a place away from noises and disturbance of the city.
The facilities are quite good and interactive with the students.
The campus is beautiful with a lot of greenery and huge acres of land spreading all across to perform many activities.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college is quite poor being a National institute of technology college.
The classrooms are quite old and it needs a lot of repair and maintenance.
The campus is flooded during rainy seasons which is a huge problem.

Placement Experience:

The college conducts its placement during the final year and many renowned and reputed companies come for recruitment in the college such as Microsoft, Wipro etc to name a few and the average package offer was around 300000.
