Sonu Kumar Rajput's Review On Gopeshwar College Hathua, Gopalganj

I did my B.A. from Gopeshwar College. The college is very active in its curricular presence in the city or among other colleges. The college appreciates and awards good sportsmanship of students. The faculty, facilities provided and education is quite good compared to the negligible fee taken from students in my view. I also learnt a lot of things in my graduation there.

The college strictly follows the rules, guidelines and syllabus drafted by Jai Prakash University, Chhapra as it provides affiliation to the college. The examinations are held yearly and internal examinations are conducted timely, as per completed syllabus.

The fee charged is clearly feasible. The fee for my B.A. was 1000 per year, which is quite affordable and easily payable for most of the people. The fee is quite low so that even poor people can afford to study here, in Gopeshwar College.

There are some scholarships available for economically weaker and meritorious students, anyone can consult regarding the process to avail the scholarship from the faculty teachers and can avail it. For others, they can still avail the state scholarship for students, and any they are eligible for.

The college hosts many cultural events under another organisation named "Spic Macay".The college hosts the football tournaments as well as Cricket and basketball championship as well. Recently the inter-college chess championship was held here. Gopeshwar College’s cricket team is one of the best football teams in Hathwa. Gopeshwar College has many provisions for sports and games. It also has a good badminton arena, a football pitch and a hockey ground. This college also has sports clubs for football, basketball, etc. This is the way of Gopeshwar College to promote sportsmanship in the college. The computer labs are also well maintained and the library is well-equipped with required books and references for all the courses.

The Junior to Senior interaction is quite good and most of the seniors are also quite helpful to us in every aspect, either it being providing notes, guidance in left/studies or any problem in academics.

The criteria for taking admission in Gopeshwar College for B.A. is that the candidate should be 10+2 Passed with minimum 45 % marks in the related subject. So, I got admission in the college quite easily as I had secured an aggregate of 79% in 10+2 examination. I filled the application form for the college, and registered for B.A. under this college, followed by the submission of some documents and a small portion of the fee to be submitted and got my seat reserved.

During my education at Gopeshwar College, I became familiar to most of the faculty and found them to be well qualified and friendly, some were also strict. The faculty usually engaged students in activities to teach them the applications of a topic and give them its better understanding. Most of the faculty also had good problem-solving capabilities.
