Course Curriculum Overview
The course is for four years and the medium of instruction is English. The total intake is 100 candidates. It is affiliated to the Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University, recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council,Chennai. It is in semester type.
Placement Experience
The college doesn't promise to provide any placements or job opportunities for its students. But a student is required to keep a good grade so that she can apply for higher studies or be recruited as nurse by big reputed hospitals.
College Events
Important seminars, events and functions related to Nursing takes place. Other than this, Fresher's day and farewell day is celebrated with joy. National holidays are given. Republic day is celebrated with joy and enthusiasm.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is different for different courses which might be expensive for some and affordable for the others. But the college provides great facilities along with best education through highly qualified teachers and also other necessary facilities which makes the fees justified.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college doesn't promise to provide any scholarship or loan facility for its students. But if one wants to take a loan then he/she can go to their respective banks with the permission of the Principal through his signature for the passing of the educational loan.
Campus Life
The college provides separate laboratories for separate departments which are frequently used. The college has a lecture hall and a seminar hall. The college has a canteen which provides good quality food at an affordable prices. The college encourages indoor and outdoor games to maintain the spirit of the students and keep them fit.
Hostel Facilities
No. I haven't applied for the hostel facility as my home is very near to my college. The college provides hostels facilities for girls with good food, clean and safe water for drinking, electricity, security and internet facility. The hostel fees are to be paid separately.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very strong and wide. Membership is needed separately to be a part of the alumni. A minimum amount of money is required to be a part of the alumni and the permission of the Principal. Seniors are very helpful and friendly.
Admission
Pass in +2 with 45% marks in science subjects and English are eligible to apply and only females and no males.The student should have completed 17 years, either at the time of admission or before 31 December of the year of admission. Form is to be downloaded from the college website and filled up accordingly and submitted before the mentioned date. Students will be selected according to the merit list.
Faculty
The faculty members are highly qualified and skilled in their respective fields. They are very supportive and encouraging. They provide notes and give lectures which are very beneficial. Equal attention is paid to each and every student for their development.
