All combined , it’s a great place for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is as per the govt guidelines. It’s a theory related syllabus . It’s a 6 semester course , two semesters each year , along with internals. So it’s 75 marks exam + 25 marks of internals. All in all , it’s a good pattern. It surely helps us to learn the concepts.

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is improving day by day. We have our top recruiters such as future first , KPMG, Deloitte , Josh Talks etc who offer full time roles. Also, we have various organisations that offer live projects & internships. Out of these , Udyamgyan is a top recruiter.

College Events

The various events are - Arbitrage, the annual commerce festival , dicentium, the economics society, Mosaic , the annual cultural fest, udgam , the annual sports meet , and carious other departmental fests and farewells that areorganised during a year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fees was 13000 for the first year , which is very minimal and genuine according to the facilities provided. The flat costs 15000 per month along with travelling fees of 1500 per month among others. There are no other shoe expenses as such

Fees and Financial Aid

No , I haven’t availed anything such as an education loan because I never felt the need since the fees is genuine.

Campus Life

The labs are really good. All throughout the year we have competitions & fests going on which increase students participation & help them to gain an all round knowledge & develop different skill set. The gender ratio is 50:50. We have a diverse group of people

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are helpful. The alumni play a minor role in governing colleges reputation & image.

Admission

The cut off list was released & I took admission in 1st cutoff . Otherwise various lists are released till the month of August. Students can also take admission via extracurricular quota, sports quota , obc,SC,st quota including others. It was a hassle free process.

Faculty

The faculty is good. They are really learned professors, who ensure that students get full knowledge of the concepts learned. The faculty is really good , understanding & full support. They are also active in various societies & ecourage full participation.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects.
