Remarks
Overall our college is very good. It has very much greenery. So the environment and atmosphere is very pleasant. The college campus is very large. Also our college has hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Overall I love my college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum needs to be improved. They are good but not quite up to the level. The courses need to be improved so that students can learn the newest technology to cope up with industry standards.
Placement Experience
The placements & job opportunities in my college is average I would say. Placements season starts from 4th year. When students are in 4th year college starts to arrange campus drive and placements. In some years before, the placements and job opportunities are quite good but now it is average.
College Events
There are various events celebrated in our college like Freshers Welcome Ceremony, Soandan - A Cultural Event and Resonance - A Tech Event. Also in our college many pujas is also celebrated. Soandan - A Cultural Event and Resonance - A Tech Event is organised by the 3rd year students of our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Not quite feasible but also not expensive. When we joined the college back in 2015, the fees structure is better than any other colleges. But as the time goes, the college authority started to rise the fees every year by 2-3 thousand rupees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there are some scholarships available for the students. First of all there is merit cum scholarship available for the students of high merits. Also there is also half fee scholarship available for the students whom family income is less than 2 lakhs annually.
Campus Life
There are lot of extracurricular activities available in our college like basketball, soccer, cricket, volleyball etc. Every year college organise annual sorts competition to encourage students to take part in sports and improve their health.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college has many alumnis. They are very helpful to junior students to guide them throughout the course. Also the senior students are very helpful. While there are lot of senior students who were very good but some senior students just wanted to show their power as a senior which is not good.
Admission
After giving the class 12 final exam, I wanted to do Engineering. So, I gave the WBJEE entrance exam course which is B.Tech. After that, there was an counseling and I got selected in College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat.
Faculty
The faculty of my college is quite good. They are very knowledgeable. But the total number of faculties are less. The college need more faculties to keep the studying fluently. While some faculties are very good, there are also a number of faculties who needs to improve their behavior towards students.
