Remarks
Kongu engineering college is one of the finest and bestest college around Tamil nadu, offering good education. Most of the colleges fails in motivating students but my college always supports the students ideas.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is that we have totally 8 semesters and two semester examinations per year. And on each semester we had to study 6 subjects. After completion of exams we would we awarded our GPAs. The exam structure was we had to write the exam for about three hours and question papers will be set by the faculties of our college or sometimes even from other Colleges too.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are quite good in my college compared any other college in Tamil nadu. Students with good subject knowledge and enough stuff surely will get placement. Yes my college provide internship to students in various companies and the stipend varies depending upon the nature of company.
College Events
My college is well known for cultural activities. Most of the cultural activities are celebrated in the even semester of the year. Swaram, Enthusiya, Sketch are some of the well known cultural events held in our college. Students from various College participate in these events to showcase their talents. And to identify the individual talents many competition was held within the departments too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is very feasible for the students. Kongu engineering college is one of the colleges in tamil nadu collecting very low fees but providing students a very good education. Most of academic expenses of the students are undertaken by the college itself.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have been awarded scholarship by my college for securing above 80% marks in my 12standard examinations. This scholarship amount is very helpful for me in satisfying my day to day needs. Students are availed more number of scholarships in my college.
Campus Life
My college provides good infrastructure for not only studies but also for sports too. Many types of sports are being trained by my college. They keep on motivating student community in extra curricular activities. My college also conducts Many games to support the students.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I have opted for hostel. The hostel infrastructure is very good and my college has about 11 international hostels for boys and girls separately. They provide us healthy food, snacks and lot. The water is very clean and the hostel permesis are clean and tidy.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network was too good in our college. We have stared a website where my seniors would update their profile periodically that would be very much useful for us in getting help from them. My seniors are too friendly to us and they help us a lot in our placement activities.
Admission
After finishing my 12th standard examinations in my native I got my exam results after a month then I applied for government counselling, I was called for the counselling. There they separated students based on their cut off marks secured in board examinations. Then once I entered the counselling hall I was asked to choose the course and college that I wished for I selected kongu engineering college and automobile engineering department. For my cut off marks I had a vacancy of seat and I was admited to the college.
Faculty
Our college has one the best faculties around Tamil nadu because most of the faculties are PHD holders and has a vast subject knowledge. They guide the students in each and every aspects and they are well known for going friendly with the students community.
