Remarks
The college is an overall good college which provides a holistic development for the students. The students find themselves improving after coming to city of Manipal, a small place far away from Udupi in Karnataka.The students are challenged daily inorder for them to improve and be the best. The holidays offered by the colleges are considered to be enough for the students to visit their hometowns and take a relaxation period from the studies conducted in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum for the first semester is preferably good and the portions are actually easy to understand and the fact that the examinations are conducted in quite a different method is also surprising. The exam structure consists of two sessionals exams in 2 different months and a semester exam in the last month of the semester.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are very well available in our college and there are placement cells in our college that help the students in preparation of the future job interviews. Yes, our college provides internship and they do provide internships with universities of different countries. I personally have no experience with the internship as I have still more time to apply for the former.
College Events
Our college has held and participated in various events. The events were sarang, a musical competition for the musically inclined students of the college. Convergence, a mini model of the real life working conditions of a business and their meetings which are required now by any student. Cultural day, day to celebrate our roots of origin and to enjoy with the other religions, cultures and ethinicities of various students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
it's moderate considering for an average middle class family. The fee structure consists about nearly two lakh for a year which rounds to about a total of 6 lakh for the end of the Bcom course which is of three years.
Fees and Financial Aid
I personally have not yet come to know of such scholarship or loan facilities that our college offers for its students as I have joined the very college recently and are yet to know about the facilities which are provided to the students of high caliber.
Campus Life
our college conducts various sporting events for the students to make sure that the fire in them is never dimmed out due to the studies. All the interested students do take part in these activities and find it rather interesting to partake in more of such activities as they are aware of the fact that sports do indeed keep them healthy.
Alumni/Alumna
the senior students are of very much help to the needs of the juniors. The alumni's conducts various video conferencing calls to the students as they are settled in far off places and cannot find time to make it for a personal face to face with the students.
Admission
I applied for the course, was asked to take a written examination and then an interview with 2 faculties and was conducted the interview process thoroughly with questions about the previous knowledge of the course and asked about the views of the college.
Faculty
They are all holders of different doctorates from various fields and trying to achieve more degrees with their teaching in our college. They are very well equipped with knowledge and their access to such knowledge has helped the students to understand various topics in a short period of time.
