Remarks

I don't have any specific college, but if I have to remark , them my answer should be made on totality basis. dU provide name & fame. Also, they help in sports & extra curricular activities for better development of an individual. So , I have more of positive experience then negative for our college/ institute.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course is quite knowledgeable & learning segment for people who Wana to have good economic exposure & company management tactics. Exams are held in May/ June of every year and for examination, there specific selected colleges are provided on the basis of applied date for examination form. Exams centers are provided on the basis of selected locations i.e, either north Delhi or south Delhi.

Placement Experience

3.5

As we are from SOL , so we don't have any specific college but we can apply in campus placement basis of our degree. Internship could be easily availed on the basis of our requirements by applying via through mail. Also, stipend may vary from student to student on the basis of there merit skills. May goes 10k+. So it's all on individual merit list.

College Events

4.5

As I'm from SOL college, so I didn't attend any college party , functions or fests because of hectic schedule. As I'm doing CA & CS as primarily course or job. Doing graduation from reneowed brand name DU is the secondary opt for me. In any uncertainty, this graduation degree helps to avail job or earn in those environment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is as discussed above is made primarily via internet through DU- SOL website on annual basis in start of an every year of our graduation. After that, in mid of the year we have to apply for exams n fill examination form. On filing of form whole ticket is generated before a month from examination date. So overall structure is quite formal & easily adaptable and usable.

Fees and Financial Aid

As a know brand , DU provide scholarship & also provide quota in sports i.e, is quite helpful & encourage student to indulge themselves in sports which itself a multi beneficial. As already mentioned, I'm not from regular college so I didn't availed any scholarships

Campus Life

3.5

Extra curricular activities means the job , work , task , activities which are done apart from study materials. Generally DU support for any sport and extra curricular activities also they provide multiple privilege to extra curricular activities student & provide a opportunity to represent ourself in different stages and grounds. So , in brief DU gives more stress for those activities and provide benefits.

Hostel Facilities

3

No , I didn't opted for any hostel, Being a Sol student I don't have to commute regularly. Only need to go during exam class days for a period of less than month. Also, books are issued from main department & books are filled online and examination roll no is availabled through whole ticket.

Alumni/Alumna

Behavior of any senior is as good as expected. Students are very helpful & motivating that they supervise and give instructions to work & learn more effectively. As I didn't come much in contact with seniors because of SOL, but during exam time & change in year they help alot in arrangements of notes and books.

Admission

Actually , I'm not a regular college student. So I have completed my graduation through corospondence i.e school of open learning. To get admission, we need to apply online on DU-Sol website. Further after that we have to select the required college. Further thereafter on completion of basic requirements, we have to pay the specified fee & collect the material from SOL department. Also, in order to give examination, we need to pay exam fee & after that hall ticket is published by SOL on their website.

Faculty

3.5

In SOL, we don't have any regular day to say classes. We have training classes i.e, once in year for 20- 25 days and are held in colleges selected earlier for exam purpose. So mainly, we have to prepare self or we may opt for any tuition classes for better learning. That's the process and everyone have to initiate there exams on the basis of provided criteria.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
