Remarks

College management was too strict in initial days but after the change of director lot of relaxation was given in terms of timing.

Entrance Preview

I passed AIEEE exam with AIR 3462, Yes i had other options like MIT, VIT. But i opted for NIT's which are known to be premier institutes in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

College was good, Disciplined and exams used to be held on time. Placements were good, but needs to focus more on research. It has some well experienced faculty but it required lot of development in the parent course.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was not provided by college, we ourselves has to apply in companies for IT. I Did my internship from RRVVNL, a Power distribution company of Jaipur.

Placements were good being located in the vicinity of Gurgaon. All Students got placed from our batch in the year 2010. Placements included IT sector as well as Govt. PSU's.

College celebrated different Fests:1. Blitz Schlag: National Cultural Fest in the month of Jan 2. Neuron: National Level Tech Fest in the month of Dec.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it was a government Institute it was funded by Central Government and fees was about. Rs, 10000 per semester. Hostel Fee was 1100 per year, With around 10000 Security deposit.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes Scholarships were available to weaker sections of Society. Also govt. scholarships were available for SC/ST Candidates as well as minorities.

Campus Life

Gender Ratio was poor in the colleges. May be 20:1 ratio. Institute was good in extra curricula. Labs were good but needs installation for new machines.

Hostel Facilities

Mess food was good. Only vegetarian food was available. It was available in 3 shifts. Rates were fixed as per consumption.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Institute had full fledged Alumuni Network. Alumni Meets are conducted at regular intervals. All of the Alumini are also connected through Online Portals.

Exam Structure

Semester system which was of 6 months duration with two unit tests of 25 Per heritage. Exams also includes Tutorial Tests as well as practical Exam and Viva Vioce.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Mnit jaipur is very good among other nit's, except some minor problems.

I had also applied to nit bhopal where i could get electrical but that was so old infrastructure and its location is also outskirts and choose mnit due to its location and social life and city . Mnit Jaipur top NIT ?

I applied to a few NITs and state colleges but chose MNIT Jaipur because it has better infrastructure, faculty, and placements compared to others. I got admission offers from MNIT Jaipur and one or two other NITs, but MNIT felt more promising for electrical engineering. I faced rejection from some colleges due to lower JEE Main rank. MNIT’s admission is mainly through JEE Main, which is the most preferred exam for most students here. The cutoff for electrical engineering is quite high, around 15000-25000 rank, depending on category. The admission process was straight forward register on JoSAA, choose preferences, and seat allotment happens based on rank. Overall, it was smooth and transparent.
