Good College

Although there are negative remarks that can be made about the college but as per my thoughts we should focus on the positive aspects and take advantage of what we have. Though it may be mentioned that the negative aspects are well taken care of by the college authorities and students who are aware of it and with time we can work them out.

The course curriculum is currently running on the previous University approved system which used to be good then but its not a good system of curriculum to used continued in 2019. But it may be mentioned that from the year 2019 our College or so the Dibrugarh University has adopted and put into effect a new system of curriculum (CBCS) which will do a great deal for the upcoming bactches of students.

There are no such placement and job opportunities which are provided by the college as of now. But in future there may be some added prospectives in this matter. It may be mentioned that the college organises various workshops, seminars , symposiums in various topics/themes which are useful for the students.

It must be mentioned that the college celebrates all in all each and every occassion. Be it Sports and cultural week for the students , other important events on science, arts , literature, environment (state level , national and also international level).

Since the college is a semi-government funded college, it is not as much feasible and also not very much expensive. Students belonging from all economic background study in this college.It is some what affordable.

I have not availed any scholarship or loan facility offered by the college. Since the college is not fully government funded , neither it is an autonomous college hence no such facilities are provided by the college until offered by the state government.

The college is actively engaged in extracurricular activities. Students are provided with opportunities to take part in inter-college sports/cultural events. Various extra curricular events are also organised all throughout the year. And the labs are also well maintained.

No, I have not opted for hostel facilities.But as per my knowledge the hostel infrastructure is quite good with all neccessary facilities for hostelers(both boys and girls) Separate hostel campuses are provided for boys and girls.

The college has a alumni body that actively engagges itself in all the events organised by the college and other communication is well maintained between the college governing body and the alumnis of the college and they provide to be very helpful.

Submission of application form along with neccessary documents supporting my previous educational qualifications and then got selected based on merit list and availability of seats in applied honours.

The faculty of DHSK college is amazing. The teachers here take a great deal of interest in building up career of an student. They work hard , guide the students in every single way possible. The availability of the teachers for students at any point of time is worth mentioning.
