I took AIEEE 2012 and I got 13000 rank. I am from haryana so considering distance and rank of MNIT (in top 5 nit's), I choose MNIT and ECE branch as i was interested in electronics and stuff.

Course is same as IIT'S cover every IES and GATE Syallbus and faculty is very experienced and extremely qualified. Most of them are from NIT'S and IIT'S. Focus is given on research and innovations.

A lot of companies came and stipend was from 40000 to 5000 pm. Some of them were Texas instrumentation, Applied materials, Future first, Axtria, Amazon, Microsoft and a lot more.

A total 110 placements were offered to 86 students of ECE branch. So 95% of students were placed in companies like brhamos, Samsung, RIL, DRDO etc.

A lot of fests are organised each year, like Neuron a tech fest, Aiambt, Annual sports meet, Honkong sixes, MST are sports events that are organised annually, blitchslag a cultural events and many more. They are of national levels, like budget of a AIAMBT was 45 lacs.

There are 9 hostels for boys one of them aurbindo is very big inaugrated by former president late A.P.J Abdul kalam, it can accomodate 1050 students and rest of the hostels can accomodate upto 300 each. First year students shares room but after first year you get your own personal roomm with high speed Lan and all other basic facilities. Mess food is awesome, A lot of variety is here at very reasonable cost. Fee for hostel and mess for a semester (6 months) is 23500 rs.

A lot of scholarships are here. College is having separate scholarship cell for giving all info about each scholarships available. Few of them are IOCL, OPJEMS merit cum means, national and state scholarships, IET and nest and a lot more. loans are also avilable as there are two banks axis and SBI bank in campus itself.

Campus life is awesome you can't forget, If once you lived it, I can bet on it. Gender ratio is 65:35, A lot of clubs are here you can be member of and improve your personality. like robotics club named ZINE.

A very good network with alumni exists in MNIT. There is seprate alumni association named ALCOM to keep in touch with new and old alumnis. Alumni cooperation is very good, They help us in organising various fests and good placements sessions, And time to time seminar takes place to motivate youngsters. Seniors are very helpful and our campus is ragging free. Anti ragging squad is here to monitor this.
