Remarks
talking about few things. the quality of teaching delivered, educational technology available, facility provided at campus, placement records, location of the college, living environment around college. none of these are suitable or habitable. I may surely not advise anyone to get admitted in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
syllabus is quite old.no updates to modern technology nor the syllabus is teaching anything new. No means of creative education. though University exam pattern is quite gud but inter college tests and exams pattern is quite poor.
Placement Experience
placement is just a flourish to IT departments, remaining streams avail no campusing. package to those who got placed is mere 2.5-3 lakh per annum. Mostly student of CSE gets placed and that is also a mere 15-20% of entire college strength. No internship is provided by college.
College Events
there are a lots of college events but none of them are organized properly. Directrix- a tech fest of cse Yantra- tech fest of college Flames- cultural fest Inception- fest of ece stream and few more small ones.but none of them are well organized.most of them are managed by the students of club.and funding are collected by students participating. NONE OF THE EVENTS ARE FUNDED BY COLLEGE. college doesn't have a sports ground i.e no sports facility is available.
Fee Structure And Facilities
fee structure is quite feasible. and is more than enough for what quality of teaching and facility being delivered at college. there is no drinking water and washroom facility at all floors. basic fees structure for engineering varies from 40-42k per sem. apart from exam fees and others.
Admission
passed an entrance exam then according to my rank i got to select this college and my department in it. On being alloted the college and stream came to the college and paid the fees and got admitted.
Faculty
first of all, most of the faculty teaches in regional language (bengali) despite of having students from entire eastern India proves to be a challenge to understand the teachers. No way of creative teaching, though few teaching staffs are good but rest are pathetic
