Remarks

It is a good college overall development takes place resides in the heart of Mumbai such as vile Parle and just lacks in only one factor that is outdoor sports other than that it is one of top4 colleges of Mumbai including IIT Bombay

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have opted for Biomed engineering , It is one of the latest branch and future of engineering fields and is developing at a vast level. So it's something which we think to do when we have to do something out of the box. We have 2 term test one end SEM 5 subjects 5 viva and 2 practical exam and one presentation throughout a particular semester there are 2 semester within a year so total 8 semester through out your engineering

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement and job opportunities for the other departments are very good. Many high profile companies such as Morgan Stanley and jp Morgan ,Goodman sachs come every year for internship and placements.but talking about my department we have a lower rate of placement and internship in core biomedical as there is no much development of biomedical field India. But for management and core other dept the ratio is good the average stipend is about 30k to40k.INR

College Events

4

There are many cultural and technical events taking place in our college such as TRINITY - the cultural fest of college. Then different comittee brings about lots of hands on workshop and competition events such DJSTRIKE , Drone workshop, CODESHASTRA ,UNICODE etc.All this event boost the thinking of students to think beyond the box and get their personal skills developed at a high level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is 1.8 Lacs per annum which is kind of expensive for an average middle family but there are various scholarship available from government of Maharashtra such as ebc scholarship and TFWS- tuition fee waiver scheme etc which helps in making it feasible

Fees and Financial Aid

TFWS- tuition FEE WAIVER SCHEME EBC- ECONOMIC BACKWARD CLASS TATA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP this are the some of the scholarship available for students so that they can get their burden of college fee get degraded to a higher level and makes education cheaper. There is no loan facility available in college that I know of.

Campus Life

2.5

There are many extracurricular activities takes place , there are different teams such as DJSracing - it builds formula cars and compete other international teams at formula Student Germany DJ's RoboCon - they build robots every year and compete with Indian teams and many other teams etc , there are indoor sport facility available in college such as chess carrom and table tennis but the college lacs for any outdoor sport facility. There are many labs each department is allocated with 2 official lab and one project lab just for students.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are no hostel facility available in the college but in the vicinity there are many hostels ,with an avg rate of 1.5 lacs per annum. One general solutions are many hostel student gets divided in a group of 4 and rent a 1 bhk flat and divide the total rent which makes it easier too loose their burden and even gives them a luxury for living. The average rent for 1 bhk flat is 35kINR

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah they are really helpful every year there alumni meet organised by particular department and many of the alumini visit every year to guide us for recent updates and procedures for future planning and we can even contact them on any of their provided help number

Admission

As this college is in MAHARASHTRA I gave a common entrance exam for all engineering colleges in Maharashtra this exam is known as CET exam we have to score out off 200 and there are three subjects to study physics chemistry and maths. On the basis of score and various merit list and cutoff list of college we played 3 rounds of all colleges of Maharashtra and through called as CAP rounds and through which we got.the admission

Faculty

4.5

I think they are really good and well educated they know how to handle students how to express their knowledge and even help us always to go beyond academics to do something different so that we can get a boost in our CV and give us opportunity for intellectual development

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
