Remarks

College has very arrogant administration many students are not given there results and leaving certificate even though they have paid all the fees to the college. College even has pending money to be paid to DTE i.e Directorate Of Technical Education,Mumbai, Amount available on DTE website.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum for Electronics Engineering is as per University Of Mumbai. Exam Structure is Semester wise. There are total 8 Semesters in Overall Course of 4years at an Interval of 6 Months. Exam occurs in 2 Stages, First there are practical exams and viva (oral) examination, then there is written examination. Marks of Both Exams are calculated.

Placement Experience

Placements and Job Opportunities are for Students with High CGPA or Grades. Many companies conduct placement drives in College. But most of these companies are IT companies, Electronics companies are very rare in conducting placement drives.

College Events

There are many events celebrated in Vidyalankar Institute of Technology,Mumbai. It has its own annual festival called Verve. Many events are hosted in Verve with respect to Sports, Cultural, Entertainment, Concert etc. College also has Traditional Day where everyone wears traditional attire, then there is Blazer and Saree Day. Marathi Divas or Marathi Day is Celebrated Annually to show respect to Marathi Language

Fees Structure of Vidyalankar Institute Of Technology,Mumbai is too expensive as compared to other engineering colleges in Mumbai or Maharashtra. Annual fee structure for an engineering course in Vidyalankar Institute of Technology is approx 1.35 to 1.45 lakhs.

College doesn't provide any kind of Scholarship or Loan Facility at all, rather it will be happy to get money from their students. There are different government scheme you can opt to as per your eligiblity. Some of which are caste based scheme whereas some are Income based schemes.

Many activities take place in Vidyalankar Institute Of Technology,Mumbai. Sports events are conducted annually in College which include Cricket, Football, Kabbadi, Basketball, Volleyball, Carrom, Chess, Table Tennis etc.

Hostel Facilities

No, I didn't opted for Hostel as I was living in Mumbai, So I used to travel by City Bus Service daily. There is no hostel facility for Students in Mumbai. Vidyalankar has an hostel in Nerul,Navi Mumbai. But I don't have an knowledge about it.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior Students in Vidyalankar Institute of Technology,Mumbai are very helpfull in any regards. They are always helpfull in final year projects in Engineering regarding topics, ideas in developing a Engineering Project.

Admission

After Completing my Diploma Engineering in Electronics And Communication from Vivekanand Education Society's Polytechnic, I applied for Degree Engineering through Online Process Of DTE viz. Directorate of Technical Education, here you can apply for whichever college you want from overall Maharashtra for the Stream/Course you are eligible for or You want to apply for. In this process you are alloted a college on the basis of your merit. Once a college is alloted you are required to pay seat acceptance fee viz seat confirmation fee to freeze your seat. After that you have to confirm the admission by meeting the college in person. I got alloted in Vidyalankar Institute Of Technology,Mumbai for Electronics Engineering Course

Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Mumbai has a decent faculty, regarding teaching faculty they are really good, friendly with students. The Administration Faculty in Office is not good, as they are not helping anyone regarding any work, slow process and arrogant behaviour.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities.
