Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are well as a generic BTech college can give but it is one of the best private college in Kolkata. The exam structure will comprise of 8 semester and each semester will contain two internals. No of subject carry in each semester
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are great The mass recruiter includes Cognizant, Infosys and Capegemini , other companies like SAP labs , EY, PWC and lots of other companies are there. No our college doesn't provide internship opportunities
College Events
We have Tech Fest- techstorm Language Fest- Panache Cultural Fest- Elixir Then Saraswati puja and Viswakarma puja s are celebrated Then CSI hosts event for CSE IT students also There is an event for ECE and Electrical streams also. Many webinar and seminar are held
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is different from my time of studying 1 St two semester - 35000 each 2nd two semester -35000 each Last two - 40000 each During admission 60k was given including 1 St semester fees There are semester fees of 1200
Fees and Financial Aid
Tfw scheme offers full compensation but you have to register with TFW ranking during counselling, Then there is WBFS scheme which provides waiver of 50%, 25% depending on your yearly income. So income certificate had to be provided
Campus Life
No of events were conducted. Football competition , Cricket competition then there is annual sports which contain throwball race etc Then indoor games such as chess table tennis and other games are conducted
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni association is there you have to register with it They are scattered throughout globe. The connection with senior students is one of the key things.The bond with the seniors becomes great Fresher and farewell are conducted
Admission
I got admission through West Bengal joint entrance examination , then through counselling till 3 Rd round I got BP Poddar. Then you have to go to salt lake campus with necessary documents and money. The admission fee might have changed.
Faculty
I think the faculty was supportive and and gave us opportunities to grow.Lots of technical event we're conducted if you perform well in academic faculty might give you extra opportunities That will help your job profile
