College

So far the culture here is cool so I don't find any negativity about the college, the downside is the political influence some senior student use to create a bit ruckus So far I have met friendly seniors and met with very good people.

It is good, even though a little improvement could be done, we did miss out some topics during our first year which could have been looked upon Exam structure follows a pattern a bit similar to the Maukat Board Patten even though our college is autonomous

Placement wise, so far I have heard negative only but I'm yet to see things for myself If we went according to the college report it's good with nice package for starting but I find it a bit too good to be true. There is mostly the case of mass recruitment by companies like TCS and Wipro and etc

There are many events held, like Rudra, Hack Fest, Vivarta, cultural programs Personally my favorite will be the tech fest known as Vivarta It's known as the tech event of TIU and it's all about tech, from Robo wars to gaming I love everything about it Currently I'm a part of Vivarta team

The fee structure is a bit on the feasible side because this being a Private University and compared to other private University it's quite normal. For B.Tech the semester fees is currently 79,000 INR

I have heard about some scholarship program that college provides but I haven't availed it myself or anyone from my friendd circle and as for loan program I haven't heard anything like that but according to some, I don't think the college provides anything like that Merited students might get some but that too I'm not sure

There are are lot of extracurricular activities which happens in college Their is sports fest, tech fest and every once in a while a tech seminar in our college where students are given the opportunity to participate and be part of a community Labs are okay, I do have a complain about it. There are sports team available in our college ranging from basketball team, cricket team and football etc

No, Currently I'm staying on my own apartment. I haven't opted for any hostel facilities, even though the college doesn't have it's own but it still have a partnership with local pgs to provide hostel accommodation for the students. So far I have heard from my friends is the hostel accommodation is a bit okay. Food can be a bit disappointing but every hostel is like this

I have heard about some alumni network and so far they have guided me in the right direction Senior so far I had a positive response from them. They were very helpful and I'm friends with some seniors for now They help me join some clubs and helped with anything I needed. So far I haven't had any problems with any seniors

I had to pass my wbjee exam which is like a state exam, show the college the marks then I had to give another test which was done by the college know as TIU Entrance Exam on the basis of that and the wbjee you are given admission

It's is okay, won't say great but at the same it's not bad, there are some good and merited teacher who tries their best with any problem faced by student Currently one of my friend wanted to do something about a research paper and our teacher was more than willing to help her out
