Nice but okayish College

The lecture hall is quite big it's one the Asia's biggest lecture hall, the capacity is huge, there are three colleges running at the same time MNIT IIIT KOTA AND NIT UK, also the aurobindo hostel is also good.

It's quite good. Regarding Exam structure, there is one mid sem held in the middle of the semester and one end term exam held at the end of semester. The grades are given in relative form. And based on the grades obtained in both exams the SGPA is given.

For CS and ECE branch the placement is quite good and may go up to 40 Lacs but in other branches the placement scenario is quite disappointing. Regarding internships, the college does provide internship facility and the process starts from the starting of 3rd year

There are mainly 2 events held in the college one is SPHINX the technical fest and the 2nd is BLITZSCHLAG the cultural fest, both the events are held in wide mass and industry artists come for the pronite.

The fee structure is quite expensive as compared to other NITs specially the hostel fees quite high but on the other hand the hostels lack facilities which is annoying.altough the girls hostel is quite good in terms of facilities.

For OBC, SC, ST the college provides many scholarships based on merith in JEE or 12th, but they take time to get approved and you have to roam here and there as it is a government process, also the college also offers a cut in fee for the low salary group and also for SC, ST students.

Labs are of older thechnology, while there are some where development is taking place. Regarding co curricular activities you will find surplus amount of facilities out there from gym to playground to tennis to badminton you just name it and you will find the suitable facilities.

The hostel infrastructure I would rate it 6/10 as it lacks the facilities which should have been given to us while charging a premium from us also the mess food is a real shit. You will be bored with the same food again and again although many requests have been made to change the mess menu but then also there is no change.

The alumni network is quite good also the seniors are very good no ragging whatsoever and they treat you like your brother or sister, they will give you ideas about placements and help you anytime you want.

By qualifying JEE(Mains) and and through JoSAA counselling based on JEE rank. You have to get good rank in order to get into this college. The JEE Mains exam tests the knowledge of students based on their 11th and 12th class knowledge.

It's good but not up to mark, some faculty are not able to understand the students need and are not able to connect to them, the end result. Student's time gets wasted meanwhile also the student had not acquired any knowledge.
