My college

College is good as it is situated in a quiet place with good connectivity by road and by train. Less costly area as it is in rural area, but as a result internet connection is too primitive. Some cases college's internal corrigendum get influenced by outsiders that's the most hazardous thing about this college.

I was enrolled in mechanical engineering department where I had learned about theory and practical of various core subjects like engineering mechanics, fluid mechanics, manufacturing technology, thermodynamics, theory of machine, machine design, machine drawing as well as communicative English,maths, basic electrical, electronics and cprogram. 4 years of engineering divided into 8 semesters scheduled during every 6months containing theory and practical papers.

Placements and job opportunities was not satisfactory. Handful of students got job. Worst thing about campusing was we had to go Techno India Salt lake campus almost everytime. No campus was organised in college premises. College had provided some internships. But overall I will give a score of 3/10

College was full of studies and fun. For the first time I was staying outside of my home. I took some to adjust and after it 4 years just gone like a bullet train. Made some good friends, spend some time together laughing, playing FIFA or cs 1.6 or most important NFS most wanted 2005. Cultural fests was the most important thing on even semesters. Just miss those days

Fees are quite feasible not very expensive but thankfully for economically backward students there is some schemes like tuition Fees waiver scheme also another scheme is there where student have to pay half amount of tuition fee.

I didn't take any loans, but college has education loan facility run by partner bank. That time it was Punjab national Bank. I don't know about any scholarships. But in some special cases they do financial assistance by reducing tuition fee.

A few Extracurricular activities was there like social work, seminars, workshops with IITs. Labs were in good condition, almost every useful machineries and equipments were there. Lab staffs are supportive and educated.

Senior students were helpful, I learned about work life of real world from them. Alumni network is somewhat okay I guess. I got a campusing notice one year after passing. So overall I will say it is quite okay.

By clearing wbjee with a valid rank I registered myself for Online counselling and document verification which had taken place in Vidya Sagar University in Mednipur,Paschim Mednipur and through choice filling process I got that college.

Faculty is supportive, well dignified. Classes are interesting and informative. Faculties organise some extra classes. We can go to autocad laboratory in leisure time to charge CATIA/autocad skills from sir or man
