Remarks

The negative remark is the college is very far from the city where I live and the positive remark is they provide a yearly pass for city bus and you can go to the copy by city bus tehy are a lot of city buses and it's near the bus station

Course Curriculum Overview

I am currently doing BSC which seems little bit easy for me because it's the extend part of puc. I have completed 4 sem in this college and passed all my exams and exams are very strict here no excuse for any kind of disturbance and the evaluation of exams is also too strict

No there is no placement in our college. But yes they will prepare you and help you for your interview an all and you need not to be worry about it all. No our college does not provide internships and I have no experience about it sorry.

In our college we celebrate all events like freshers day and send up party for seniors and all National festivals are celebrated like INDEPENDENCE DAY and REPUBLIC DAY and also GANDHI JAYANTI and so many are there and gathering functions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are not that much ecpeny it deepneds on yours caste as it is a government college you need not worry about fees it is not as much expensive I think it's below 5K for every one per year and at the end of semester there is another fees structure for your exam that's exam fees and which is below 1k for every one.

They're a alot of scholarship for students based on the caste. I am a minority student I have got the scholarship every year and this is government scheme you have to apply it online and submit it's documents in the office room

As I am s science Student and and we have a lot of labs in a semester and the labs are good but a little bit problem is there but thats usaul in every college and they provide all the needed tools for the expireiment and sports I also there and NSS, SCOUT'S n Guides.

Hostel Facilities

No i am an localte I live in this city only and I don't know about this and our college does not have any hostels you have apply it online for government hostels. They are also divided by the Caste and all and also your last class percentage

Alumni/Alumna

Yes all our seniors are good with us and there is no question of ragging in our college and they will help us in every functions and in solving every matter in college and also in ous syllabus problems and also they provide us there previous year all notes and journal and record which are very helpful for our exams and the previous year question papers

Admission

Submit all the required documents and submit in the office room. Fees are paid online and Xerox all the documents with three sets and submit it in office. They will tell you everything needed and the LC of yours is brought by them by your previous college

Faculty

Yaa the faculty is good as they do their job well. And you need not be worry about anything they will help you in all your problems and the lecturers are good but seems boaring to as you know science.

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Why you should join SST

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it was very curriculum heavy meaning the cirriculum was very good . the girls to boys ratio here is 1 : 8 . but this year only 200 peopel were selected out of 200. they are industry tech experts. they are passable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
