Remarks
This College is really helpful for students who are doing other professional courses from commerce background. Not that much aware of Arts and Science parts. All things are good, but sometimes due to other activities the college get disturb.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is based on university of Calcutta's guidelines. You have to follow the exam structure. Graduation part is divided into 6 semesters, per semester is of 6 months, carrying an internal exam and a semester ending exam.
Placement Experience
Placement depends on ones capacity, that what is his or her performance during the college. Since this college has not that source for getting big placements. After completing graduation you can apply for several department for job.
College Events
There are many events that are celebrated in the college, college fest is the biggest program that is organised every year. Inter college events and sports tournament are organised every year for growth and expansion of students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In comparison of other college, this college's fees is very feasible as they charge only around 6000 INR for a year, where other private college charges around 40000. Exams fees are directed by the University of Calcutta.
Fees and Financial Aid
Not now. But after graduation they provide some scholarship to the meritorious students. The college is very less expensive that everyone can afford this and if u do good, u can get a lot of help. As such loan facilities are not available.
Campus Life
Labs are good and active. Sports u can play indoor and outdoor too. The college orgaineses and takes part too in inter college events. Football and cricket are some of sports that are widely spread all around the city.
Alumni/Alumna
All seniors are helpful and kind enough to help the needy people. Student union is also engaged in solving the issues of the students all around the college. There is also a shop outside the college. They are good.
Admission
First you have to fill the form. After filling u have to wait for merit list. There are criteria of taking admission in various courses. If your name is in merit list, you are selected. Merit list is based on marks of class 12th. There are three lists that publish, accordingly.
Faculty
Faculties are very good and supportive. Every department is well covered. The faculties are very kind and ready to help during lectures as well as after lectures too. You get all types of support and help from them.
