Remarks
College is known for its strictness and attention to disciple even though we are 18+ students. The positive thing about the college is that the academics are very good and the teaching quality is good along with the infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is a little outdated and unnecessary. Exam structure is marks oriented rather than knowledge oriented. There are two unit tests in a semester and also a lot of assignments etc. as term work, and then the final semester. Marks are distributed accordingly. Also the exam is under the university of mumbai and hence the paper is set not but the college but the university.
Placement Experience
I am in my first years but according to my seniors and the college website the job placements are very good in this college. Placements for IT and computers field are about 90% students placed. And 75% for other branches such as mechanical etc. Companies that visit the college are very good mnc's , tech companies such as infosys, tcs ,shell, capgemini etc.
College Events
We have two main events 1)FACES 2)ETAMAX Faces is a sports and cutural fest. Where it focusses on cultural events , skits , dances sports matches between various branches etc. Dances battles and shows are put etc. The fest lasts for 3 days. ETAMAX is a techocultural festival. Here various tech related events take place such as eSports, robotic matches, drones races , dances , paintball fights etc. Every year new and different events are added to these events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is kind of expensive. But affordable. It is very cheap if you have a caste quota. Also there are various scholarships offered by the college and the government to help financially backwards students.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is the economically backward class (EBC) scholarship that the college gives which gives us 50,000 inr every year to the students who apply for it. Also there are minority scholarships and backward caste scholarships.
Campus Life
Labs infrastructures are good, there are all types of sports grounds in the college such as football, basketball , swiming pool , badminton court etc. which are all well maintained and nice to play on. Only problem is that they need to be rented in order to play on.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the seniors and the alumni that had passed on from the college are available on a college website where we can contact then for guidance etc. Also the college has appointed senior councellors to guide students who need help.
Admission
One has to give an entrance exam common to maharastra know as MH-CET. Based on the rank you've got there is a merit list. College has a cutoff percentage/percentile and if you have cleared it you can take addmission.
Faculty
Faculty are good, helpful but sometimes put a lot of pressure on the students for various submissions etc. Also faculty prefers theoretical learning rather than knowledge based learning. Non teaching staff are good helpful and do their job well.
