About my college

Positive is this is national institute of technology and comes under the indian government. Negative is it is outside the city jalandhar infact many people inside jalandhar don't know about this college.

In my opinion, the course curriculum is so good. It need some changes, also the 75% attendance criteria should be removed. I think it only puts extra stress on students. There should be some more practical subjects in the course curriculum. Three exams per semester.

I am in my second year so at this stage, i Don't know very much about it. But for the branch cse placements are nice. But for other branches, i think it's not so good. Yes, the college provides internships one time after completing the first year.

There are different events which held in our college. In the month of November, there is techniti event in which technical competitions are organised. This event is organized by society of mechanical engineers. Then in the month of march, there is utkansh event which is cultural event.

The fee structure of our college National Institute Of Technology Jalandhar is very good. There are three slots based on income criteria upto 1 lac, between 1 to 5 lakh( this slot should be changed there is very difference in 1.5 lakh and 4.5 lakh) , more than 5 lac. It quite feasible.

I don't know very much about it. Because i don't avail any scholarship or loan facility. But i think there should be some. But for general category students, there is no scholarship in my knowledge.

Yes, there are many extracurricular activities, there are different clubs dance club, acting club, movie club, photography club. Also, there are teams who make cars for competition. In sports activities, there are also very good facilities.

Yes i opted for hostel. The infrastructure of hostel is good. But here students are more. Room shortage is a problem. In single seated room two students are living. There should be more hostels. But facilities are good.

For alumni network it is good , we organized alumni meet year in which we invite previous alumni of this college. And about seniors they are very helpful , provide any kind of help you want from them.

By clearing the joint entrance exam ( mains level) we can get admission in the national institute of technology , Jalandhar. This is done by jossa admission process. When you cleared the jee exam then after the result you get admission according to your rank.

Faculty is nice. Help students in each and every way, if we need any type of help they try. But all fingers of hand are not equal. But i think they try there best. In opinion if they focus on student knowledge more than his attendance it will be much better.
