Our college has excellent library and reading room facilities.All lecture classes are air-conditioned.Lab infrastructure is nice.The college union provides good support to all students in developing their talents as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 9 semesters for 4.5 years together and then house surgency for 1 year.university exams are conducted once during 2 semesters.There is year back system in first year only.Exam is of 200 marks and covers both theory and practical.The weightage of marks for theory and practical depends on the subject.
Placement Experience
Job opportunities are vast.We can get job in any private sector hospitals or in primary health centres.our college provide internship for 1 year.The salary is about 25000 per month.The workload is heavy during the year as we have to directly communicate and treat patients as doctors
College Events
We celebrate almost all events in our college like Diwali,Holi,Christmas.We provide feast during the days of Onam and ramzam.Arts fest is celebrated once in year named 'euphoria'.the sports meet conducted which includes both athletics and games.Then all Kerala intermediate fest hosted by different medical colleges across Kerala is a festive event
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is government prescribed fee structure.it is quite feasible.there is only a few amount of Rs.25000 per year and no other additional fee.During admission some money is collected for pta fund raising.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is E-grantz scholarship programme for students coming from poor families whose annual income less than prescribed by government.they need not pay college fee as well as hostel fee.laso special quotas have their own scholarship programmes.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities always have good importance in our college.We have a big cricket and football ground,a tennis lawn,a volley court,a basketball court where students could play.Also artistic talents are developed through professional training as well.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I have opted for hostel.It has all facilities like a clean hostel mess.Good food is provided all day.there is good building infrastructure and facilities.we have gym for workouts There is a badminton and volleyball court.also plenty of open fresh areas.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network always provides good fund raisers for alla college programmes.They are backbones of our college.They also host awareness classes for undergraduate students.Senior students are helping us through our syllabus and during exams.
Admission
I had to write NEET exam and scored rank 901.Then my state rank list was put up from the all India rank list and I had 143 rank and got admission through state merit.Admission is solely based on entrance exam marks
Faculty
They are masters in their field of knowledge.They have caring attitude towards students.Even though they are busy in their schedule they always find time for students like us to teach us new techniques as medical concepts are changing day by day.
