COLLEGE REVIEW

Infrastructure is well and good. Not good sports facilities. Academic are fine enough. College lives in movies are way different. Science faculties are better in my point of view. If you want to enjoy in surrounding of college then there is no such place but some good points are in shorter distance.

Course is well designed and help in future proceedings. The course is designed in such a way that there is no need for extra study for the preparation of post graduation entrance exams like JAM, TIFR etc. Exam structure is simply semester based held two times a year which includes internal and external and practicals(if any). Exam pattern is very easy can be related easily by previous year question papers.

This is a harsh reality that as of now there is no such arrangements for placements or interships, meanwhile there is a placement cell opened shortly trying to work in this field but it just a startup. Any assurance can not be given for it right now.

Events celebrated are the centre of attraction (other than infrastructure). There are departmental fests of each department respectively and a main event which is organised in the month of March. Events are organised by repective council members of each department which are chosen within the department by any means election or faculty meeting.

Fee Structure is changed drastically with the course of the session. I have paid just 11000 for my first year which includes admission fee, security fee etc. But in the third year we paid a whopping amount of approximately 18000 rupees, which has increased 7000 in just 2 years. Since the college is self funded, these changes are likely but not regular after wards in my opinion.

There are several types of scholorships:- 1. INSPIRE :- which gives 4 lakh rupees in the course of 5 years depending upon your academic performance in school and college. 2. National Scholorship Portal (NSP) :- This is government organised portal which can be availed for scholorships. 3. College Scholorships and Fee Refund:- This scholorships are given for any students who are :- i. Belong to EWS ii. Belong to any PwD category iii. Scholors in respective years in college.

This college is very bad in sports. There is not any good opportunities for sports. College have no good ground for playing. It have a small park like ground in which there are small events. Overall if you are a sportsperson don't choose this college at all.

Alumni depends on the person's behaviour or nature not on college. If you have good relations with your seniors then they can help you or if your seniors are good people (like me) then they are ready for any help they can do. On the other hand most seniors after getting passed from college make no relations at all.

For merit based :- 1.Sign up on University of Delhi portal on particular time period. 2. Check cut offs, according to 12th percentage, admission can be done by directly going to college and filling the desired form. 3. Migration from other colleges is also possible.

Faculty is one of a kind( especially mathematics honors). Most teachers are well trained, professionals, hardworking and dedicated for their job. Other courses have good faculties also. Most of them are trained PhD holders while others are not less than M.Phil.
