Remarks

I would suggest if you are not from Delhi/NCR do come here. You can take admission in any private college and get much better college life than here. There is no college life here. Most of the students don't come to college to attend classes after their 1 year as they get to know the truth.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course and curriculum of the university is very outdated. They haven't updated their syllabus for a long time and you can't expect to learn from societies around as there are no much technical societies. You have to go out and search for latest courses.

Placement Experience

1

There are very less placement and internship opportunities in the college. The strength of students in a batch is 1000. The company visiting the campus is less than 20 with most of them having packages less than 4 lac. There is no placement for core branches such as MAE and ECE. Infosys and Accenture are the only hope that comes and take away around 400 students in a single go.

College Events

1

There are 3 event that happen in the college One is the annual party which begins with a Pooja then lunch. The hostelers and PG students are happy as they get good stuff to eat after long time. The second one is the sports fest and various sports events occur in the college. To participate in any event you have to pay for that entry fees. The third is the college fest that happens in around March every year. There is no much sponsorship from outside so they take 500 from students individually who opt to take part. No big celebrity comes. It's all dull. So don't waste money and time. Instead go to DU college fests at that time and enjoy which most of the seniors do.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is feasible. It is about 1 lac a year. Since it's a private college it has comparatively less fees than other private engineering colleges and they don't offer any scholarship based on 12 grades since entrance is through engineering test

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship offered by the college but the university has a scholarship scheme every year i.e. EWS ( Economical weaker section). This scholarship is offered to the students who are good at studies without any back and have family income less than 2.5 lacs.

Campus Life

2.5

There are some societies for dance, music and arts that are run my the students individually and college doesn't contribute much to them. No good technical societies as such expect for jaatyu which is very good and again the students contribute money individually to run the society and other extracurricular activities are much less. so there is nothing much to do in the college if you aren't part of a society.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni from this college have reached various places but the alumni network in very less, the college doesn't encourage it much expect for the time of placement when they need someone to forward resumes of students. Also, the junior senior interaction is much less except you're part of a good society. People are busy in their own stuffs and generally come to college very few days in semester as there is no attendance issue

Admission

The college is affiliated to GGSIP University. To enter this college you have to give IPU CET now replaced with jee mains. The other modes of admission are through management quota and Jack if you have and know any of the higher authorities. The Delhi students have a 85 percent quota since it's a state University.

Faculty

2

A few faculty are nice and good and have great and in depth knowledge in their subjects and would also encourage to do reasearch if you are interested in that. The rest are just there to time pass and have fun and take away their salary at the end of the month and lab assistants are mostly rude and have no such expertise.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
