K. K. Wagh College review by an alumni passed in 2019

Positive points are it has well equipped labs and ample of sport grounds and indoor games are valued too. And considering placement, this college tops in Nashik for maximum placements. Negative points are lack of English language speaking and understanding in the staff.

Course curriculum is unique hence the reason without studying hard I managed to score good. Regarding the exam structure in the first 2 years you have to give 2 exams for a semester in which 50 marks are weighted for online multiple choice questions and 50 marks are reserved for theory offline exam. In the last 2 years you have insem examination carrying 30 marks for each subject and 70 marks for endsem exams, both these exams are offline theoretical.

KKW is the #1 college for placements in Nashik itself. You've a ample choice to make regarding the companies you've to apply for, but only for the desired candidates, because maximum only 30-40% students from a class are selected at the end of the year for campus jobs. No our college doesn't provide internships, I haven't heard of it yet.

There are several such events. One of the biggest event is the Electrical Dept. Karmaveer Kakasaheb Wagh Expo in which students from many colleges apply for demonstrating their models or practicals. Then there is MAFFICK which is a cultural event only limited to the college students and staff.

When I was pursuing my career it was feasible. But as soon as I passed out I heard that the fee has spiked to a whopping of 25% than the previous fees, so at present it is expensive. And I think considering campus and infrastructure that's too high.

I haven't taken any kinda loan from the college. But have heard of educational loan. Also candidate are availed with scholarship when they top in some sports in the regional area or he's gets selected in GATE examination.

Regarding labs. KKW has great equiped labs although the equipments are under maintenance for several time. Regarding sports KKW belongs to the top 5 teams for Cricket and Volleyball in regional area itself. So overall it is good regarding extracurricular.

Yeah, alumni get mail regarding get together or alumni meetings etc. And senior students are a wealth for junior as they provide notes and are very helpful atleast in Chemical Engineering dept. So overall this is helpful.

I got admission through merit list. I studied diploma after my 12th in KKW itself and after completing, filled the form for applying for BE. Then I entered the colleges which I wish to go, and then after a period a merit is given on the basis of percentage.

They are highly qualified, experienced and practically way ahead. The only major thing which pulls them behind is their control over English language, well for me that doesn't matter too much, but yeah that's the major issue.
