My college days

My college faculty only attend the students who attend to their curriculum. And they'll help you till your last breath only if you want to fight till your last breath. And one negative thing is that the examination cell is very lag while providing the mark sheet hard copies unless you're a final year final sem student.

The course curriculum is based on a modern-day syllabus and as the college is an autonomous college affiliated under MAKAUT, so some of it is taken from the MAKAUT syllabus and some of it is rearranged to maximize the range of knowledge for a student.

The college is in bond with many companies like Capgemini, mind tree, byjus however in our period maximum of the candidates who got selected for job profiles were by pool or off-campus. I got selected by a pool campus. Many even got selected in amazon, tech Mahendra, IBM, CTS, tcs, etc. Nearly 90% of the students of my steam got placed and about 50 to 60 percent of non it branches got placed.

Our college includes several events like the fresher's program, aluminum meet, technological fests, cultural fests, fashion shows, bot maniacs, and all the festivals like Christmas, Diwali, Viswakarma puja, Saraswati puja and donation camps, blood donation camps, a training session on modern-day technology, etc.

The fees structure is feasible for a middle-class Indian family however could be expensive for a poor class family and very cheap for families of an upper class than these. The fees structure for a sem is 5 digits and starts with a 4 in the beginning. At least till the time I was studying our basic fees, structure was like that.

They provide scholarship as well as PWD scholarship offerings but only after being affiliated by a genuine source. They also provide loan facilities and installations while you pay your exam fees only after you're under the BPL category or if you have a certificate of consideration from a genuine organization.

Our college is very systematic about labs we have 16 computer labs, 2 co labs, 3 hu labs, 8 mechanical labs, and 8 ee and ece labs. It has a football team, a volleyball team and a cricket team which plays in intercollege tournaments. In short, our college equalizes sports to studies.

The alumni and the seniors were very helpful. They've guided me into the phase that I'm in now. But yes you have to ve interactive enough to at least speak about yourself to your alumni and seniors. Because they can't read your minds about whether you need help or not. You need to ask them for help.

I got qualified with the criteria of ranks on WBJEE. I got selected as I was a beholder of the range of the rank required in our college at that period of time. After getting the results of my wbjee I went for the counseling period and got sone of the private college of my city among which I found this college to be suitable for my further studies.

The faculty of my stream was very supportive as well as I got to interact with some faculty of other departments who were very supportive. No discriminations are there on basis of stream culture for a maximum of the faculty members. However, some teachers do discriminate between streams but that percentage is very low i.e. 5-10%. In short, if your teacher identifies your face by the end of the day by looking at your name from the register you'll be treated as a gem.
