Remarks
Overall the Coimbatore institute of technology has positive remarks. Though the college has certain negative feedback the management is taking the necessary steps to enhance the facilities. The college can provide still better transportation.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum followed currently is the best one. The first semester contains the basic maths, physics, and chemistry papers. The second semester contains advanced physics and other department papers. Third and fourth semester contains basic electrical engineering papers. Fifth and sixth semester contains basic electronics paper. Seventh and eighth semester contains advanced and application orientated papers.
Placement Experience
There is a separate cell for placement. Placements are going through a proper way. Many companies are visiting and are recruiting many of the students. The placement process is just awesome. I am also placed in an organization.
College Events
There are enormous events conducted in our college. There are almost 22 clubs They include NCC, NSS, YRC, and so on. They also conduct many camps like blood donation. They also help ashrams and poor children.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure followed in our college is generally affordable to all classes of students. There are three types of fees structure: 1. Government quota 2. Self Finance 3. Management The college is also offering many scholarships to the students The alumni of our college also offer many scholarships.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college has both scholarship and loan facility There are scholarships for minority people and for those who come from other backward states like Mizoram. College also helps students getting educational loans and first graduate benefits.
Campus Life
Talking about extracurricular activities our college is very good. It allows active participation in all sorts of sports and intercollege cultural festivals. Labs have good facilities but still, labs must be equipped with high-class equipment.
Hostel Facilities
I would rate eighth out of ten for the hostel infrastructure and facilities. Because overall it has a good infrastructure but still it is not awesome because the boys' hostel does not have a fan and heater facility.
Alumni/Alumna
The college provides a good cardinal relationship with both seniors and alumni. The alumni with a high class of business offer scholarships and other aids to students. The alumni in esteemed firms help during placement.
Admission
Through counseling conducted by the TN Engineering council based on 12 physics, chemistry and maths aggregate scores. Maths marks are converted to 100 Physics marks is converted to 50. Chemistry marks are converted to 50 Then a cut-off of 200 is used in the counseling process.
Faculty
They are very good at teaching. They are usually post-graduate teachers They are well qualified and have good stuff and deep knowledge in their corresponding field. They are qualified in well-esteemed universities.
