Best thing about my college

The best thing about college is its location It's located in outskirts,totally away from honking of horns and busy traffics The campus is a green campus Negative remark is that since it's an 100 acre college , govt funding would have helped to make the campus even more Sophisticated but due to some reasons it's not possible.

The course curriculum is quite good It's quite knowledge oriented It includes syllabi of various universities which is quite useful in giving the PhD entrance later We have a five year course and personally within 6th sem we have 80 percent of the csir net course covered which according to me is quite good

CET comes under the best college of Odisha specifically for its placement opportunities. Once the placement season starts many companies prefer the college Despite being a technical college it still brings pharmaceutical companies for our chemistry students and many of our students got placed too at MacLeod's pharmaceuticals, many more students work on waste management companies Overall the opportunity is quite good

Mostly since it is a govt college we can't afford high end events still CET holds two events one technical called Perception and another is Cultural called Xtasy. they are quite successful events. Apart from that farewell, Freshers, all the puja every traditional events are celebrated too well

The fee structure is totally feasible it's not at all expensive Any one can afford the fees Apart from that there are scholarship too if you are eligible for it you can receive it. The self financing courses have a bit more fee structure than normal courses. For my course it's 15k per semester which is actually feasible and affordable

Medhabruti scholarship is available for students in which for families whose annual income is less than 6lpa they are eligible to apply There are also scholarship if one scores more than 8 cgpa which is subjected to the number of students applied and liable to their financial condition. I haven't availed any scholarships

The labs are really well furnished. Since it is a NAAC-A grade college it's obvious that we have every kind of scopes for extracurricular activities We have smart classrooms and even according to UGC now 4k TVs are installed in smart class room CET has joined hands with Tech Mahindra to establish an AI lab so that students will be really familiar with AI based system so as to help them in their workplace

Senior students are really helpful They guide as to what's better Only for senior students juniors have to struggle less, they help in just everything Even the Alumni are IAS, IPS they are called to college to give talk and inspire junior students They show us a path to travel They give the exact details of what's good or bad so that we follow a right path

From JEE Mains exam Apply in integrated MSc criteria Only CET will be available Apply for any one of physics, chemistry ,math and computing Selection process is based on the ranks of students applied Better rank means you will get a seat

The faculties of our college are quite talented and extremely qualified having PHd in their respective fields. They are quite supportive and help students any time we approach them. Despite being the tough course they try to help students and try to teach in lucid manner as far as possible and always give the perfect guidance
