The college with a lot of potential

In short I would like to say, this college has a lot of potential in it. The students here are very talented. The ambience here is very welcoming and is at peace. Every year we keep on adding new memories.

The curriculum is pretty diverse and mostly industry oriented. The course is basically designed in a way, so the students can apply their in the real world too. The course is up to date with todays technology.

The placement scenario here is pretty intense. A lot of companies come for recruitment with several rounds of interviews and aptitude tests. Internships are provided in association with a website called internshala.com to any interested candidate.

There are several events being celebrated throughout the year. The year starts with our Annual Cultural Fest, Magnus in February. Then followed by our Sports events, The Gulabi Devi Cricket Cup in May. Then Teacher's Day and Fresher's Party (Alaap) on 5th September. In late September we have Gulabi Devi Football Cup and at last in October we have our Annual Technical Fest, Techmedha.

The fee structure is very cheap in comparison to other private engineering colleges. There are no hidden extra fees. Only the tuition fees is asked from the students. No donations are required. The college even accept digital wallets for payment.

If a student who has completed Diploma from our college wants to continue for a Bachelor's degree from our college his/her fees decreased by almost 50%. There are many scholarships available for students of minority.

The campus itself is very peaceful. Adding to it are the big green Cricket and Football grounds along with the Basketball, Tennis and Volleyball courts. It also has a fully equipped Gymnasium and a Swimming pool attached to it.

The Alumni here is very helpful. Most of them are placed in reputed IT companies. Whenever they visit the college for a reunion there's always some kind of a surprise for their juniors, like new coolers for the hostels or new connection in the interview room.

I got this college after appearing in the state level engineering entrance exam, i.e., WBJEE for West Bengal. After the results came out I got this college according to my rank. I finalised my choice and contacted the college with my application and then they took care of the other formalities.

The college has a pretty esteemed faculty. Most of the professors are well known big names in their respective fields. The HOD's are all from IIT's or NIT's. They are very friendly with the students and try to help whenever required.
