Review about my college

The campus needs a lift for us top floor students.

Faculties are great though they have their limitations as the number of classes are more than the number of professors, they try their best, mostly are very helpful if you ask the right questions. They don't differentiate based on scores but on one's behavior.

Worse there can be. Very partial when informing students least of the least options of companies. unbelievable salary packages.

Icaria which is a three-day annual fest with various art, games, dance singing etc. Convocation which started from 2016. Various seminars around the year by individual departments. Saraswati puja and Holi. Annual sports fest. One day Freshman party consecutive day of Convocation.

The course fees have risen significantly. Our admission fee was 10k, caution money was 10k, and 6 semesters each 20k. Our batch was 2016-19. Caution money refunded was 8.9k after some deductions. All payments are online or via card or draft if more than 5k. Cheques were not accepted back then.

Separate scholarship office is there for such to help out students though they should make another desk as information desk as only one person is there in the office for all thus he usually tells everyone to come back later.

Great campus though somewhat distant from the city and bus service is over expensive. If one has a personal vehicle that's good. The gender ratio is hard to speak of I would say that depends on the department to department. Law school has the majority of female Other departments has quite similar ratio according to me 7:3

I never saw the alumni. Though most first state seniors were very helping and ragging is something only felt in hostels and that also by students from other states.

Most admission occurs from June though one can approach from April, after applying for an admission form the students are asked for an interview by a penal mostly depends on the time it was 5 person to 2 people penal now. Recently a GA test is taken for 30mins max after which the interview is taken (I'm talking about for the management department AKA FOMS - 'Faculty of Management Studies' only) After which the student is taken in usually they take any student regardless of performed in the interview the test is just to take understanding of basic mental ability.

That depends on faculty to faculty, some are very hard working so the students grasp the very basic understanding, some like the advance level, some don't help those who are weak speaking in outspoken situations. Few are only there to get paid. Though faculty assessment sheets are distributed twice every semester.
