- The classroom ambience and syllabus structure over the course of 4 years
- Plenty of extra curricular activites in the campus to keep students active both inside and outside classrooms
- Hostel facility provided to students is also very good

- Too much construction and rennovation works
- Unavailability of a good placement cell for students
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is hugely based on practical practices and focused on developing students for the real world instead of the same old bookish knowledge. The exams too, checked our knowledge and not how much of the notes we could memorize
Internships Opportunities
Many different companies are eager to hire students from IUT and i can vouch for it since i had a first hand experience in that. I personally was approached by 3 different companies in LinkedIn who offered me paid internship roles starting from 15k and all i had to do was what i already learned in college, thanks to the great labs which we have and great teachers.
Placement Experience
The placement in our college could certainly improve and the student body alongside the Placement Cell are working on that. Oftentimes a lot of MBA graduates get the highest package and oftentimes students from BTech get the highest package
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for the overall 4 years of BTech was around 4LPA, however, since many of the students dont come from a very strong financial background IUT also has a scholarship opportunity available to only those who score really well in their exams, the fees per semester can even go down to 0 if the student is bright enough.
Campus Life
My personal campus life was super fun, all thanks to my friends and wonderful teachers. The campus was big enough for us to chill out during our free time, and the cafeterias was big enough to accommodate a lot of students from different streams, giving us a space to socialize and learn more about our fellow college mates. The infrastructure is also very good, especially the library and labs
Admission
The admission process was very direct at our college. First you fill the form up, wait for some time, and then you're called for an interview, based on that interview the teaches and the office staff would move on to the next steps. The reason why i chose IUT was because i failed to get into NIT and was really sad about it, however, after 3 months i was sure i didn’t make mistakes coming to IUT
Faculty
The overall faculty of IUT is very good, the teachers are very approachable and friendly. My favorite being Mr. Saha who used to teach us mathematics, he made sure that no student left for home with a single doubt in their mind no matter how small. The curriculum is also very relevant to the latest advancements in the field of the students respective subjects and is updated from time to time.
Night Life
The nightlife around the hostel is 0 to none, you arent allowed to leave the campus after 8/9pm. However you can go to the gym, basketball court, football field etc to chill with your friends or can even go to the library if you have an exam coming up soon
