MNIT Jaipur college review

The MNIT college life is one of the best. There are lots of opportunities to explore yourself and to become a leader in life. Everyday we learn something different out from studies which help us to become better version of ourself. The hardwork along with enjoying with friends teaches us the real meaning of life. All these little precious moments will definitely add up stars to your life.

The first year course curriculum remains same for all B.tech students which involves basics of all engineering domain. From second year you will have courses related to your specific branch. Every semester use to have one mid term and one end term. Along with written exam we also have practical sessions and assignments. The overall course structure for electrical engineering branch in mnit is good, still you have to do specific study in certain fields of your interest by your own in order to get practical relevent technical knowledge of what exactly is going on currently in industries.

Placements of our college are quite decent. The avg. package of CS branch remains higher than any other branch. The approx avg. package of various branches are- (Thus data is based on personal experience) Computer science: 12-14 lpa (highest 35-40 lpa) Electronics: 7-9 lpa Electrical: 6-7lpa Mechanical: 6-7 lpa Chemical:6-7 lpa Civil:5-6lpa Metallurgy:5-6lpa Along with placements, some visiting companies also provide internship to 3rd year students. Lots of internship opportunities are secured by CS students (avg. stipend of 35-70k/month) followed by electronic (15-30k/month), electrical (15-20k/month), mechanical(15-20k/month).

Every year lots of events are organised by our college. Department day celebration, Freshers day, Society events, tech talks etc are few of them. The big events includes: Blitzschlag the biggest annual cultural fest of Rajasthan. Sphinx the annual tech fest. Dandiya nights. Scholars Cup. Etc These fest involves various competitions with cash prizes along with pronight, DJ night, celebrity night, band performance, comedy etc

The fee structure is feasible. Also fees remission is given to students who have less annual family income. The details is as follows- Income between 1-5 lpa will be given 2/3 of tution fee remission. If below 1 lpa, full tution fee will be waived. Also, various scholarships are given to students to financially help their education.

There are banks in college campus that help students to know about loans, their terms n conditions. Also, in office there are staffs who guide students on how to file for various scholarships their papers requirements etc.

MNIT jaipur have well equipped labs, playground, courts. Each and every lab have all required instruments and equipments. Playground and courts are checked frequently. Proper lighting facilities are given in playfields. Instructors and coaches use to guide students on various skills and sports.

The hostels are not so advanced with facilities. But include all the necessary requirements. All hostel have playing area with badminton and vollyball court and ground, A common room with T.V and tennis's board. Rooms are not so big but sufficient to live in as a student. RO Watercooler facility has been given to ensure pure drinking water.

Mnit have strong alumni connection. There is an Alumni society named Alcom(alumni committee) which is run by various alumni and student incharge. Various events are organised every year by Alcom to make interaction between alumni and students.

Jee Mains is the national level exam which gives you the opportunity to get into NITs, after the release of rank list if you manage to clear cutoff rank you can apply for counseling. During which you can lock your seat into the applied college. After this there are some paper verification process which will finalize your admission to perticular NIT.

Faculties are really good. They are well qualified with good technical knowledge. They help you to get the basic understanding of the subject. Also they are ready to help you out in any way possible. Various interested students also do project under the faculty incharge. The support of faculties always depends on your interest towards study.
